Q: 1. Is support planned for the new Canon 5D Mark IV (or does it not need it)?

A: Canon 5D Mark IV has already built-in Wifi and NFX support. You don't need it.

Q: 2. compatible to use with Eos 5D Mark 3?

A: No, this is not compatible with the Canon 5d mark 3.

Q: 3. Is this original from canon ? Or third party accessory?

A: It is from Canon directly.

Q: 4. Will this work with EOS rebel T3?

A: No. According to Canon, the W-E1 WiFi Adapter is only compatible with the EOS 7D, 5DS, and 5DS R camera.

Q: 5. Can you use it in live mode and see the video in your smartphone/table?

A: It will set the camera on live mode and you will see the output on your phone/tablet.

Q: 6. I was just on Canon's web site and saw the 7d ii proved at $1499 and saw the 7d ii w/wifi for $1849. Why the extra $350 if the only thing I need to make my 7d ii a wifi device is the $40 wifi adaptor card? Am I missing something or is there something else I need to make it a wifi device in addition to $40 wifi card?

A: Looking at Canon's site, it looks like the $1849 kit includes the 18-135mm STM lens. Not sure on the wifi card, but that would explain the price difference.

Q: 7. Is there any update on when this product will be in stock?

A: Unfortunately, at the time of this response, we do not yet have an update on the availability of the Canon W-E1 Wi-Fi Adapter. However, as soon as we receive more information, we will update the information listed on our website.

Q: 8. Do I need the cs100 in addition to the Wi-Fi card to transfer images straight to my computer?

A: While the CS100 is a fine solution for transferring your images off the camera, it is not a requirement to use the W-E1. With the Canon W-E1 Wi-Fi Adapter, you can transfer your images to another camera, a smart device, a computer, the internet (through the computer using Canon EOS Utilities) and a printer.

Q: 9. Can you use this W-E1 WiFi SD card to only transfer JPG images (shot to SD card) to a computer but keep RAW images on the CF in the camera?

A: If I am understanding you correctly, yes, you can shoot and have the JPG's sent to your computer while the RAW and JPG files are being written and saved to the CF card.

Q: 10. Can this card be used in more than one 7DII camera body, or is one card per body required?

A: to have the WI-FI work, the camera must have the card inserted.
