Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What is the power rating for all channels driven?

A: The Denon AVR-A1H would be around 110W with all channels driven.

Q: 2. Thinking of adding a Motiva XPA-3 Gen3 3 Channel Audiophile Home Theater Power Amplifier to this Sony. Would this work well?

A: You can go from one of the Pre-Outs from the Sony STR-AZ7000ES, via RCA stereo cable, into the stereo RCA inputs on the Emotiva - XPA-3 Gen3 Amplifier.

Q: 3. Is there a phono input with pre-amp for a turntable?

A: Sony STR-AN1000 7.2-Channel Network A/V Receiver, BH # SOSTRAN1000, has no phone input. To connect a turntable that only has a PHONO output jack, you need to connect a phono equalizer (not supplied) between the turntable and this receiver. Rolls VP29 Phono Preamp (B&H # ROVP29)

Q: 4. Does it have 110 and 220 volts ?

A: The Yamaha R-N800A 2.1-Channel Network A/V Receiver (Silver), BH # YARN800ASL, is 120VAC 60Hz only.

Q: 5. Does this system support wireless speakers ,Front and back or period support?

A: The Sony STR-AN1000 7.2-Channel Network A/V Receiver (B&H # SOSTRAN1000) is compatible with select Sony wireless rear speakers and subwoofers, but it is advisable to use a wired connection whenever possible, especially if this receiver is part of a home theater system being used for watching TV/movies.

Q: 6. Is this unit 240VAC rated?

A: The Denon AVR-X4800H is only compatible for use in North America.

Q: 7. I live in Germany and want to know if the Sony ES STR-AZ7000ES is dual-voltage and will work here?

A: No, the Sony STR-AZ7000ES 13.2-Channel Network A/V Receiver (B&H # SOTRAZ7000ES) only accepts 120 V AC power at 60 Hz.

Q: 8. I'm enjoying this receiver as 7.1 in Living Room. Can I add 2 bluetooth speakers in bedroom 25' feet away, concrete walls?

A: It is unlikely that you will be able to use two Bluetooth speakers with the Sony STR-AN1000 7.2-Channel Network A/V Receiver at 25' away through concrete walls. Concrete blocks Bluetooth connections more effectively than other materials, so you would be best off placing your speakers within a direct line of sight of this receiver.

Q: 9. I want to buy this beauty my speakers are 8 ohms can I connect a pair of 4 ohms alone with my 8 ohms and have no issues.jbl l100

A: The Onkyo TX-NR6100 is rated to handle 4-16 Ohm speakers.
