[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this drive for a few years now. It is my is drive, and even at pcie 3.0 I haven't found any need to upgrade the os to a faster drive. I use a 990 4.0 1tb x2 for app drive/storage and one for games and love them for the lore demanding reads and writes, but my good ole 980 has my os up and running before ei sit down in my chair. 5
