After using Monfratto heads for 30 plus years and having creep and slippage with a Nikon D810 and 80-200 lens, I finally took the leap and paired this head with a Gitzo Series 3 6X Systematic Carbon Fiber Tripod (X-Long) & Kirk plates. This a a fine instrument, featuring smooth, solid operation. I create product, portrait, architecture and landscape images. Thus far, I am very satisfied. Terrific lightweight ballhead. I have an older Arca Swiss monoball and this is far easier to use, levels accurately and has no droop whatsoever. What more to ask for?

I am really excited about my new Arca-Swiss Monoball p0 Ballhead with Classic Quick Realease. I use it mainly for birding and landscapes but will use it for portraits and other typ of photography as well. It is so easy to turn and handle and my pictures seem to be shaper and more clear due to the steadiness.

Typical Arca Swiss quality. Easy to use, ultra stable and does not drift, something even my older B1 ballhead would do. The reverse concept makes it very easy to level and then pan. Terrific lightweight ballhead.

This L-Bracket is perfect for users with the monoball p0. Everything you expect from Acra Swiss.

Quick to mount camera. I use a metal 45 LF camera with this (approx 3 kgs w. lens) and it works fine. Doesn't creep at all once tightened.

I have owned many ball heads all of which have had drawbacks. Within an hour this head has become my favorite. I have it on a Gitzo mountaneer and have reduced the total weight I have been carrying by over a pound and upped performance dramatically. This head handles my Canon 5d w grip and 70-200 2.8 with ease. I mostly use it w a Sony 7R and Leica M glass and the friction is smooth at both ends. Very little force is required to lock it into position. The bubble level is ultra sensitive but if you have it centered panoramas are perfect. Get used to not having multiple knobs to remember.I love it.

Original design, precise engineering, great finish. Hard to find better ball head in same price category.

I mainly shoot landscape and wildlife. For the wildlife I use a gimbal head on a Gitzo Series 5 tripod. Heavy but it gives the required steadiness for super telephoto lenses. I like the gimbal for general shooting but I was restricted to landscape format. For portrait, it was not simple to rotate the camera. With the purchase of the Monoball P0, I can pan, shoot portrait OR landscape with easy transitions. The ring lock on the P0 is easy and allows fast easy camera movement and then easy lockup. The lock ring has a aggressive knurling but this is a plus. I read a review that it hurt someone's hand and they had to wear a glove but this, in my opinion, is from someone far into the delicate flower spectrum. Overall - well made, easy to use, robust.

Well made, easy to install, fit perfectly with a D4 or Cube ballhead. You need it.
