This lens is so versatile. It's one of my go-to lenses for weddings and for shooting street photography. You can get decently wide, and you can have a really strong portrait focal length too. I'm not big on zoom lenses, but this is one of the easiest zoom lens purchases you could make. It's sharp. It's light. It's a constante aperture zoom. And you can use it in so many situations. Fantastic lens. 5

I used to own this lens and couple of years ago before I sold it with Canon R camera as a part of the kit. While I own other RF lenses that cover the focal range of this lens I missed this lens for travel and long distance hikes. For most of my nature shots where you want all objects to be in focus I am using an aperture not higher than f4 anyway, and this lens is lighter and more compact then its f2.8 siblings. 5

I needed to replace my EF24-70 f/2.8 mk1 as I migrate to mirrorless. The 24-105 mm would be more useful for much of my needs, so I decided to try one. It has been good. The f/2.8 would have been preferred, but the 105mm @ f/4 focal length is a reasonable trade off. 5

This is a great all round solid performing lens that in my opinion is sharper than its ef sibling. Love the range of 24 - 105 for travel. Balances well on the R3 5

I bought this to complete my trio of RF lenses. It is my mid-range lens between my 15-35mm and 100-500mm lenses. With its relatively wide f4 aperture, I have gotten some great evening flash pictures of feeding hummingbirds. Wildlife photos are my thing, and this lens fills this niche for me. 5

I have not used this lens very extensively yet; I'm still using the RF 100-500 the most (for birding/nature photography) but I'm expecting to use this lens a lot in the fall and winter for landscapes/portraits, etc. I'm excited to see how its going to perform. 5
