Protect your lens with this short LensPouch from LensCoat. This lens pouch is 8.5" in length and 5.5" in diameter, comfortably fitting lenses one inch smaller in measurements for safe storage and transport. It is made of a soft neoprene material and comes in a solid black color.

The lens pouch features a simple pull-cord closure for retrieving and storing your equipment, a carabiner for clipping the lens pouch to a camera bag or jacket, and a removable reinforced front element protection disc for lenses.

A: I bought both the Small Wide and Medium Wide sizes. I carry a Tokina 12-24mm f4 in the Small Wide, but I often swap my Canon 24-105mm f4 into the Small Wide pouch while the 12-24mm f4 is in use in the field. The Canon 24-105mm f4 actually fits in the Small size just fine, but it's a tight squeeze and I can just barely fully cinch the drawstrings. If you like a snug fit, the Small Wide size will work just fine for the Canon 24-105mm f4. For a more ample fit, go with the Medium Wide.

I bought this pouch to store my Canon EF 70-200 L series lends in my camera case. While the provided Canon pouch is adequate, it is oversized for the lens and takes up too much room in the camera bag. This LensCoat pouch fits like a glove and takes up less real estate in the bag. 5

I am a big fan of neoprene pouches. A few of these can turn any bag into a camera bag. I have several of the Zing pouches purchased here at B&H and I use them all the time. I bought this one for my Sigma 70-300mm that was too fat with the lens hood to fit in any of my exisitng pouches. This fits the bill very nicely. The neoprene is a little thinner than the Zing pouches. It's about the thickness of a wetsuit. The nice addition here is the stiff disc at the bottom that allows the bag to stand up and stay open. This has been very handy during quick lens changes outside. Even with the stiff disc, the bag can still be folded completely flat when empty which is one of the best things about these types of pouches. FYI - I noticed that some people complain about the plastic clip. This appears to be the same or very similar clip that is on the Zing bags. I didn't like it either and decided to snap it off and replace it with an aluminum carabiner clip. Well, somewhere during the process of trying and failing to snap the thing with two pairs of pliers and then breaking out the hacksaw, I decided that the plastic clip probably would have been fine to carry a three pound lens. 5
