A: 4-ply cutting works well with this cutter.

A: I dont think so. As somebody said the sensor size could play a role, although it never happened to me.

A: Unfortunately we do not have the measurement of the pitch to provide you with. I contacted the manufacturer and they stated it is within the common pitch of your major brand filters we carry (Hoya, Tiffen, B+W etc).

Q: 9. How well will this work for trimming prints with the straight cutter? Would be nice to use one machine for everything rather than also needing a separate rotary trimmer.

A: The mat cutters are not recommended for paper trimming but if you want to save on cost/space, you could buy a paper trimmer and pre-cut mats.

A: I just used filters w step rings nothing more. Sorry, I don't know...
