Offered here with a Micro Four Thirds-mount, this special effect lens separates your subject from the background and creates a swirled blur around the edges. Ideal for creative portraiture and fine-art photography, you can manually change the aperture from f/2.5 to f/22 utilizing the dial on the front of the lens, as well as manually adjust the focus as close as 18" from your subject. Additionally, the Twist 60 offers 46mm front filter threads for any filters you would like to use to further enhance your image.

I own 6 Lensbaby lenses. They allow you to create effects right in the lens. Weather close up work on flowers, or landscape work the softness and bokeh is controlled by the Aperture. Wonderful effects. 5

I've only had very limited opportunity to use this lens since receiving it but I love what I'm seeing. Crisp, sharp focus with buttery backgrounds, just the effect I was looking for. Up close shots are lovely and even landscapes are nice. I'm looking forward to spending a lot more time with the Velvet 56. 5

This is a new perspective for my photos and I am in the learning curve. I love the ability to direct the view to a specific point on flowers for close up. Having the F stop on the lens is new and I am still learning how to adjust the camera settings. It is definitely one to use for artistic photos. 5

Manual everything so be prepared, but very versatile. Working with different combinations of aperture and distance from your subject you can create glowing soft portraits (wide aperture) or slightly soft landscapes with just a hint of glow (smaller apertures). Lots of good YouTube videos demonstrate all the uses and help the learning curve. Extremely solidly built. 5

This lens stays on my A7R3 all the time. I mostly shoot flower and landscape, this lensbaby can focus like a macro, create creaming effects and lovely bokeh. I usually go out with an A7R3/Lensbaby and an A7R4/24mm f1.4GM or a Hasselblad 907X 50C/30mm f3.5. This lensbaby started as the backup but soon became the primary. This is not a for everybody lens and takes a bit effort to master, but I love it. 5
