The Atlas Sound TSD-ALC2 - Audio Level Controller and Limiter is an automatic 2-channel audio level controller and limiter designed to allow designers and installers to set predetermined maximum source levels. The device is useful for installations with multiple program sources of varying output levels such as satellite receivers, MP3 players, and more.

The unit is inserted in line with these sources so that the audience will not be distracted during high-volume commercial breaks or when different inputs are selected. The device is useful in retail stores, restaurants, sports bars, hotels, event centers, and other similar facilities.

The device features unbalanced stereo RCA input and output connectors, a threshold level control, a ramp speed selector, and output gain adjustment controls. The unit also works well when used in conjunction with Atlas Strategy Series Mixer Amplifiers.

The device is designed to be energy efficient and meets most energy standards. One 24 VDC power supply (sold separately) can power multiple units, depending on overall current requirements. The front-panel controls can be locked to prevent unauthorized changes using the included front panel security covers.

A: Not designed for this purpose, but might work for this application. The only way to know for sure is to give it a whirl. Note: use only with unbalanced LINE level signals.

A: The Atlas Sound Time Saving Devices TSD-PA252G does not ship with power supply. It must be purchased separately.

A: I don't think it provides phantom power but it does allow it to pass through? So send phantom power from the recorder (or TX if going wireless) and you should be good.

TV signal levels are all over the map when using an external amplifier. If you turn down the theme music of a program, the dialog is way too quiet. When you have the dialog at a comfortable level, the music jars you out of the chair. You get the picture. I got fed up and decided to get the Rolls SL33b limiter. I hooked it up, put the knob pointers mid-way (straight up)and haven't needed to use the volume control on the amplifier since. It does the job perfectly. If you're an audiophile, you may not appreciate the over-all sound quality. Music seems a little squashed but NOT distorted. That's why they call it a limiter. The dynamic range is compressed. It is a very acceptable compromise for smooth listening. The SL33b is well made and very compact. You can easily set it, hide it and forget where you hid it. 5

A bubble level is a necessity for proper turntable setup.I researched reviews for available bubble levels and noted that the AT615a bubble level got the highest and best reviews based upon accuracy. I have tested this level using my go to line level and my other multi use levels that are accurate but not suitable for turntable leveling and found the AT615a to be spot on. The level is well made and is now a part of my arsenal of turntable set up tools. My three turntables are all more easily leveled using this circular design. 5

This is the perfect size for my Monoprice 49key keyboard that is 31 in length. It is solid and offers better protection because it is rigid. Construction is top notch! Would definitley buy it again. 5

I am using this device so that the singer can monitor her voice through an ear bud which means she doesn't have to have monitor close to her mic. Also, she can adjust the volume to her liking. The mic can be passed directly through or it can accept a feed from the board or both at the same time. Very cost effective for the quality and usefulness. It can use batteries or a small power adapter. My only complaint is that it uses 9 volt batteries instead of AA's which are cheaper and last longer. But, I high quality 9 volt alkaline gives us about 6 hours of use. 5

I got the SES to convert the unbalanced signal from my turntable into a balanced signal I could run into my studio monitors. It works perfectly for that. I also like that it has input and output level controls. This means I can adjust the volume coming out of my monitors simply by lowering the input or output level on the SES. Very handy, because it saves me having to walk around behind my monitors every time I want to adjust the volume. Would definitely recommend if you need to do a similar conversion. I tried some adapters first, but the signal was very weak and thin. This is the worth the money. A+ service from B&H too. It shipped fast, and I got frequent tracking updates. 5

I use this limiter between my second set of monitors (Bose/Polk setup) to make sure during mixing I do not hit my Stereo Amp too hard! It works great! 5

Used it to drive (4) four Atlas M1000 8" Sound Masking speakers.� At half volume it was extremely loud.� Simple volume control and White / Pink noise selector plus a little bit of EQ.� More than most people need. 5

I received such gear a few days after having made the order. It reflected the efficiency of B&H. I connected the gear into my HiFi system and immediately felt surprised why such pro product could give me such a good sound. It sounds much better than just using the Cardas adapter. 5
