This Balcar Mount for Zoom Focusing System from SMDV allows a Balcar-type strobe or LED monolite-style head to be quickly and easily mounted onto the adjustable boom arm. This head mount faces the light source inwards towards the softbox interior from the front for a more reflective light spread. It features all-metal construction and a female receiver with a locking knob.

I mostly run camera, and do a little editing. I don't usually mess around with audio recording, and usually hire out for it. I got this little recorder so I could do it on my own, for quick shoots. I was really happy with how easy it is to use, the quality of the sound it records, and all of the features. The knobs are solid, with a little resistance so you know they won't be jarred, and you won't lose your adjustments. The case it comes in is pretty weak, but it does the job. I would recommend this based on easy of use and quality. 5

I have had the Zoom H4n Pro for a while, and it did great work for me when I used it to record orchestra concerts into my Sony a6300 camera. I like that I can have a separate audio file recorded to the SD card on the Zoom along with using this as a video mic. The feature that I think I'm really going to like on the H6 is that I can record another track at the same time at a lower volume level so that if the orchestra does get extra loud, I can avoid clipping. Also, I like the quite dials for adjusting volume, this is a big improvement over the H4n Pro for me. 5

I've owned my H6 for several years. I mostly use it to record live big band rehearsals and some live performances of smaller jazz ensembles. the recorder is intuitive, performs well and makes sonically excellent recordings. I have nothing to complain about. 5
