A: That is a good question and may I suggest you contact the Manufacturer for the specs. In my opinion, the PowerTank will do just fine. The quality of construction is top-notch and the unit is nicely sealed. I use the PowerTank outside (not in rain) but when the humidity is high and in the snow for astronomy. It is great device for my purpose......just not sure about your requirements inside a greenhouse. Good luck.

A: the Power Tank comes with an AC charger...Celestron Part #18778, which plugs into the 12V pin. It also comes with a DC connecter, with ends that can plug into a car cigarette lighter, or portable car jump battery, for in field, DC charging.
