Barska 4x32 Contour Scope (matte Black)

$212.97 $325.84

An ideal scope for many mid-range applications, the matte black Barska 4x32 Contour Scope is built for crossbows—but with its compact design, light weight, and long eye relief, it's also useful on pistols and rimfire rifles. The reticle, set on the second focal plane, is designed with a full-field crosshair and holdovers specifically geared for crossbow bolt ballistics. Its optics are anti-reflection fully coated to maximize light transmission, which helps to offset the smaller objective lens and boost performance in low-light conditions. Precise 1/4 MOA per click windage and elevation adjustments get you accurately zeroed with low-profile capped turrets that won't cause snag hazards when you're stalking through brush. To withstand the rigors of the hunt, the 1" maintube is made of lightweight aluminum with a matte black finish and nitrogen filled and O-ring sealed to be waterproof and resistant to internal fogging.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Do you have an item that will allow me to see an object in detail from a 2-10 feet distance with clarity?

A: Yes I would recommend something with less power. That way you get a better image. The Carson 7x18 CloseUp Monocular would be a nice choice. Link: http://bhpho.to/1afFyF3

Q: 2. is it any adapter to attach this device to a SLR camera?

A: Yes you can get the Barska Telescoping Digi Adaptor. This will attach a DSLR Camera. Mount a point-and-shoot camera or lightweight SLR to spotting scope, telescope, and monocular eyepieces. Website link: http://bhpho.to/1CGku0f

Q: 3. I have trouble with binoculars as my eyes are not level. Which monocular would you recommend for wildlife viewing? Thanks.

A: Hi Michael, I cant use binoculars either, also due to eye issues. This presented a bit of a challenge for an amateur birder. The Barska 10 x 40 Blackhawk Monocular is the first and only monocular I've owned and I am so pleased with it that I'm not looking for another one. I can see birds in flight, and perching at about 100 feet, with crisp clarity. My Barskas give me an even sharper view than my husbands Bausch and Lombs, with far superior eye relief. My husband has a pair of Leicas as well, and I think my Blackhawk gives me just as great a view (really!). This has been true for both daytime and twilight viewing. Couldn't be happier with these. Hope this helps.

Q: 4. How high will this put the center of the scope at ?

A: The distance of the Barska 30mm X-High Riflescope Rings to the center of your scope will be 1.45 inches.

Q: 5. do I need any other parts to put the 12inch on my DPMS 556?

A: This Quad Rail is designed specifically for AR-15, M16, M4, and other standard carbine platforms. You do not need anything else except for Gunsmithing torque Wrench.

Q: 6. Are there threads for mounting a filter?

A: The Barska Level 20-60x65 WP Spotting Scope (Angled Viewing, does not have any threads to mount a filter.

Q: 7. origin?

A: This item is made in China.

Q: 8. Is it advisable as scope for adjusting rifle sights in a shooting range up to 100 meters?

A: Ideal with the 20-60X eyepiece

Q: 9. are these sights ambidextrous?

A: The MFR needs to be contacted for this answer.

Q: 10. does scope come with lens caps?

A: Yes this model comes with a Front Objective Lens Cap, and an Eyepiece Cap.

I like this one. It feels solid without feeling heavy. The knob is grippy, as if rubberized. The screw threads protrude a good 7mm, allowing a confident 5 threads of hold within the binocular. The base has a slightly recessed rubber-like textured pad which helps to grip your tripod shoe with less chance of rotation. The threaded base hole is tapped deeply, allowing roughly 12mm bolt or shoe thread length internally. The only area I can think of where improvement might be made is on the surface where the adapter contacts the binocular. It seems to me that some sort of washer could be employed there so you aren't tightening metal to metal. While I'm thinking about it, I wish that that surface had a slightly larger diameter, perhaps to match the diameter of the knob. From an engineering standpoint, it would allow better angular stability and strength. Nit-picking there; it's a good product for small to mid-sized binoculars, especially for the price.

I purchased this inexpensive adapter to attach my new Nikon Prostaff 7s 10x42 binoculars to a Manfrotto monopod for an upcoming Alaskan cruise. The adapter worked just as expected and hope to see many new birds from my balcony on the ship :-) B&H helped me select this item via chat. Ordered at noon yesterday and here (PA) before noon today. Awesome service!

This well-designed bino tripod adapter is something I wouldn't have thought to purchase but when I read it was available for use with my

Nikon 10X50's I didn't hesitate to add it to my order. What I like about using a tripod with binos are that it frees my hands for note-taking and also allows me to share with other birders a best close-up view without having to pass the 10X50's around to others which is tricky and time-consuming while each person focuses. Especially, if I am working with children it allows them to easily see interesting sights without hassle.
