I have used this spotting scope for about 2 years now and it has been a huge upgrade to my shooting game. The glass clarity is great and the controls are very easy to use. The optic is on the heavy side, so I recommend going light on your tripod if you plan on packing it out. I was able to record hits on a steel target at 2000 yards with a 338 lapua with my cellphone and an adapter. Nothing else comes close to this quality at this price point to my knowledge. Clarity is very good. It is heavy, but for its intended purpose I see that as a nonissue. If you need a spotting scope with extreme range this is it.

Perfect for exactly what I need. It is a little big, as you would expect, but I'm able to fit it into my bag without incident. The included protective sleeve is certainly a plus. The glass is CRYSTAL clear. True HD quality. It would be worth it to get a camera attachment for how clear the sight picture is.

This scope is fantastic! The old saying of once you look through good glass you can never go back is true. I will never go back to maybe a bit cheaper models. Backed with the warranty and you can't go wrong. The field of view and clarity all the way to the edge is impressive. Good job Vortex. Now that I've praised this scope I must say it is on the heavier side. And the eye relief mechanism of action could feel better. But so far that's my only complaint. For under the Swarovski price with the level of glass I would highly recommend.

This is my first scope and I couldn't be happier. It's very easy to use and extremely well-made. Just what I expected after being very impressed with the Vortex Viper 10x50 binoculars.

Large objective lens with great performance. Used this scope hunting big game in NV this year. Multiple hunts with all types of weather and lighting. Had zero complaints with the performance. Would recommended every time. Have not used a scope this nice hunting and it definitely made a huge impact on our ability to find animals. It’s also very durable and lightweight. Don’t sleep on vortex, they’re legit.

I cannot express how awesome this spotting scope is. First off, I bought this to shoot long range and it did not disappoint. I was able to see rounds impacting clearly at 600 yards away. It’s definitely the best spotting scope that I’ve used.

With that said, I was able to use this scope to view the craters on the moon and even view mars. I was honestly blown away that I was able to capture such a clear photo with my phone using this scope.

I don’t like to review things until I’ve been able to put them to good use. That being said, for the price this Scope out does many at twice the price and that’s what makes it so appealing. It is crystal clear, provides excellent light, packs well in a backpack and the best part is vortex killer warranty. I love it! I will be buying the straight version of this scope and I probably won’t even shop another brand I like it that much.

Best bang for the buck! Use it for long range target shooting.

Razor glass is unmatched. I’ve used this at the range a handful of times, and plan to use it this fall for elk and deer hunting in Oregon.
