  A: No. As you can see on the product view it only has a switch for Normal-Macro . I find this lens needs to be set for SPOT focus most of the time to get it to auto focus quickly -and or at all -sometimes, but not always. I set the camera to Manual Focus a lot of the time for good, clear photos. This lens also does NOT have a Lock switch, which irritates me a lot. Overall the lens does produce good photos. And I like the Macro photo results. I think I should have gone for the Sony lens.

  A: I had this happen once when I attached the lens to the Nikon camera body. It ended up being very simple in that the lens wasn't fully seated on the body. I wiggled it around heard the click and then it worked. You've probably already explored this possibility if you have been used to using the lens. Other than that I can't really help. Good luck!
