I love coast! They are the best Lights, and there customer service is top notch! Only headlights ill ever Buy!

I've used many different brands of headlamps, but nothing cokmpares the FL78R. Strong, bright, reliable, and the rechargeable feature never has me wondering if my batteries are going to last, nor am I throwing batteries away. I work outside, often in the dark, and I trust this headlamp wholeheartedly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As an evening runner having a light is important. I've always used a light vest so when I received this Coast headlamp I was anxious to give it a try. Note I still used flashing reds on my vest.
I was immediately impressed with the dual power capability. It is rechargeable using lithium ion batteries or 3 AAA batteries Coast generously included. It can be charged in or out of the headlamp. There's a port on the lamp and the pack. Also included are a standard USB cable and AC power adapters.
The light is bright! With 530 lumens you will have excellent visual. It is adjustable to red for night as well as green useful for hunters.
It's lightweight and doesn't weigh on your head. The strap is adjustable and will adjust to hats as well as hardhats.
The switches functioned well and focusing the knob was simple and smooth.
Overall impression is Coast has designed a well thought out headlamp that's pure quality.

I was in the market for a good headlamp and didn't want to purchase something cheap that barely worked and would have to replace within a month or so. I needed a headlamp for grilling at night, hunting, misc. projects around the house, etc. I researched headlamps for a few weeks and watched numerous videos on this particular headlamp. None of the videos I watched did this headlamp justice! (Which is why I opted not to post any photos.) This headlamp is exceptionally bright and shines for a great distance when zoomed in; exactly what I was looking for in a headlamp. The rechargeable battery is an exceptionally nice feature as well. Goodbye AAA batteries! Yes, this headlamp comes with a high price tag, but you will not regret this purchase! Plus it has a lifetime warranty.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a stunningly bright lamp with multiple modes and focus. I'm not a hunter, but have used it walking the dog many times and it's been perfect. I haven't needed to charge it yet after the first time, but I love the fact that it has both a rechargeable battery pack, but will also take standard batteries if you're away from a power source for a while—great combo. It's a little chunky, but should be great for hiking, biking, even amateur astronomy with the red light. Nice.

Awesome light for hunting. Has red and green. Super bright. Multiple levels of brightness. Lasts a long time.

Very nice light! Light is bright and battery life is pretty good so far.

Was easy to carry and light weight.. This telescope is decent if you know what your doing. Must all ways stay calm and relax when using any telescope if it is made some what cheap. Cleaning the lens to this item...  My best thoughts are keep the lens cover on it when not using it. Is only glass coated for any one who bought this item, the more rubbing can cause it to scratch up.. try not to have to clean it if you can avoid that problem. Their is glass coated cleaners out there never try them my self or not yet so if you do so it is at your on risk i just keep the covers on it as much as i can.

Great headlamp, I use it for everything from hunting and fishing to working on vehicles just can’t beat it. The USB charger is a great bonus along with being able to use AAA’s. Will be purchasing 1 or 2 more to leave in vehicles etc.
