A: This model does not have pocket's on the sides, or in the back on the outside. It only has those pockets in the front and in the back on the inside of the vest. A model that would work is the Barska BI12286. Unfortunately we do not carry this model anymore, but Barska does have this model in their inventory system still.

A: It will save the fingerprint in the scanner. Even if you take the AA batteries out. Also there is an external battery pack as well.
