Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will it block the Fuji XT2 Battery door?

A: Depending on how you install the SpiderPro Plate of the Spider Camera Holster SpiderPro Single Camera System (B&H# NAPP14A7GNS) it is possible that that plate could block the battery door of the Fujifilm X-T2.

Q: 2. My waist is 25 . Can I able to use this belt? It said for waist 28 and plus. Thanks.

A: According to the manufacturer, the smallest waist size that the Spider Camera Holster SpiderPro Single Camera System can accommodate is 27 . However, the Spider Camera Holster can be attached to any belt, and does not necessarily have to be used with the Spider Camera belt. You can find the Spider Camera Holster SpiderPro Base, Plate and Pin here: http://bhpho.to/1jcN6Wr

Q: 3. Once I buy this system for $135. What additional equipment do I need to use it with two cameras and how much more will that cost?

A: If you want to adapt 2 cameras and use them one at a time you only need the plate and pin, $22.50 If you want to adapt the belt to carry 2 cameras at one time, $108 for the kit. You can buy a belt that accommodates 2 cameras up front for $211. I have this system and absolutely love it.

Q: 4. Do you have to remove the plate from the tripod socket of the camera to attach to a tripod or is there a tripod socket on the plate as well?

A: There are several 1/4 -20 threaded sockets that you can connect this plate either directly to a tripod head, or to another tripod quick release plate.

Q: 5. Does this Product support the use of Lens Pouches, or MAS system from Tamrac. It would be nice to your as a double up for a utility belt and holster

A: Due to the thickness of the belt and the lack of any type of fastening/securing method for lens pouches or accessory pouches to be attached to the SpiderPro Holster, it is not recommended to try to attach any additional accessories to the belt.

Q: 6. Will it fit to the Spider holster?

A: Yes, I wear it on my Spider holster. It's great to put memory cards, business cards, and even a small cell phone too.

Q: 7. Will this fit a Z9?

A: Yes, this will work with the Nikon Z9. This accommodates cameras with or without a battery grip; the Z9's size lines up with the former.

Q: 8. Has anyone tried this with a Canon 5D Mark iv?

A: I use this strap with a 5D Mark ll and a 7D and it works perfectly. It has a plastic attachment that can be adjusted to the size of your hand or camera. Last weekend I had a two day event and used this strap on both cameras all day long and I felt very comfortable with them. Also I felt very secure that no accident will happen due to a loose strap. It is anatomically designed to your wrist and access to all buttons of the cameras is easy. It is made out of leather and no sweat or irritation was caused to my skin. I have tried several ways to carry a camera on my wrist and this is the best accessory I have bought in a long time. I dont Think youll have any trouble using it with your Mark lV.I just love this product.

Q: 9. Does this product have a safety tether cord, to prevent your camera from accidentally falling when it's removed from the holster? Or do you just have to hope that you won't ever drop a camera body again?

A: when you remove it from the holster, you have it in your hand. There is no separate safety cord. I have a hand-strip so I am not afraid of dropping it. If you wish you can 'make' your own safety tether cord. The possibility of dropping your camera is always there, but has nothing to do with the holster. It is a great system.

Q: 10. Is it safe to use this rig to carry a full size DSLR with the 70-200mm ?

A: Yes, it's absolutely no problem.

I loved my first SpiderPro Hand Strap so much that I bought a second one (in a different color to easily distinguish between my cameras). I immediately had a problem, which I remedied easily. As others have mentioned, it is extremely difficult, if not impossible, to reach the rear buttons with your thumb (I use back button focus). I didn't have this problem with my first strap since I had a vertical grip attached which affords my hand more room to move, so my fix for my second camera was to add a vertical grip. Problem solved. I'm now buying another SpiderPro Hand Strap for my third body (which does have a vertical grip), and I'm buying it in yet another color. Although the SpiderPro is expensive as far as hand straps go, I feel that it is well worth it. And having to add a vertical grip isn't really a penalty since it is so useful for a number of reasons. In conclusion, if you use the rear buttons on your camera, consider adding a vertical grip. Otherwise, it's quite frustrating. Still, I must give it five stars.

I carry two cameras for all my events. It allows for quick access and is comfortable. I no longer have pain in my back or neck during or after a shoot

Comfortable and just beautifully made. I use it with the belt. So much better than having a neck strap.

I cannot say much more than has already been said about quality of construction - it's great, but there is a paucity of reviews that cover carrying cameras lighter than 5 LBS. I am a birder and carry binocs on a harness when I am in the field. I hate wearing any more on my chest area because something is always getting in the way of something else. I got tired of dropping my camera out of a shoulder pack that I positioned on the side of my body. The last drop ruined the EVF so it was time for change. Currently I use a Panasonic FZ300 in the field which is much lighter (1.5 LBS) than the 5 LBS mentioned in the product description. Short story is that this belt works fine for light cameras. I hardly know it is there and I can walk several miles in comfort. Surprisingly, the belt does not seem to contain a lot of body heat which is important on summer hikes. The only downside, which I can live with, is that when the battery or SD card needs attention, the plate attached to the camera has to be removed as it blocks the battery/SD card compartment. It is removed by unscrewing 1/4x20 screw from the camera's tripod mount. I suppose I will have to learn to anticipate this before I get into a hot shooting session and change the battery a little earlier than usual because if the battery dies in the middle of something important, I am sure I will be swearing up a storm. The pad has a nice holder for the set screw wrench that is need to get the pad off of the camera so all that is nice, but still several turns of the mounting screw are need to remove the pad then the pad has to be stashed somewhere until you are ready to put it back on the camera. I have yet to have the battery change experience yet because i just got the belt, but I see it coming and I hope it is not going to cause me to lose photos. Other than that great belt and if your battery door is elsewhere and not affected by the mounting pad, this is a non-issue for you.

I have tried dozens of straps over the years and this strap has them all bet by a mile. It's sturdy, comfortable and adjustable with any accessories, plates or brackets you have on your camera. I use 4 bodies and have one for each in a different color for a fast grab from my camera bag if needed.
