Q: 1. I have a Nikon D7200. Will this hand strap work with my camera?

A: Thank you Dale, Marek! We agree - the SpiderPro HS should work very well with the 7200 camera body. PLEASE do spend the time and watch our SpiderPro hand strap assembly video at a href= http://spiderholster.com target= _blank spiderholster.com/a in full - it shows you how to install (especially Nikon as you have more steps to set up) and extra adjustments you can make for exact fit. a href= http://spiderholster.com/video-guides/ target= _blank http://spiderholster.com/video-guides//aBest,S

Q: 2. Does this product have a safety tether cord, to prevent your camera from accidentally falling when it's removed from the holster? Or do you just have to hope that you won't ever drop a camera body again?

A: when you remove it from the holster, you have it in your hand. There is no separate safety cord. I have a hand-strip so I am not afraid of dropping it. If you wish you can 'make' your own safety tether cord. The possibility of dropping your camera is always there, but has nothing to do with the holster. It is a great system.

Q: 3. Has anyone tried this with a Canon 5D Mark iv?

A: I use this strap with a 5D Mark ll and a 7D and it works perfectly. It has a plastic attachment that can be adjusted to the size of your hand or camera. Last weekend I had a two day event and used this strap on both cameras all day long and I felt very comfortable with them. Also I felt very secure that no accident will happen due to a loose strap. It is anatomically designed to your wrist and access to all buttons of the cameras is easy. It is made out of leather and no sweat or irritation was caused to my skin. I have tried several ways to carry a camera on my wrist and this is the best accessory I have bought in a long time. I dont Think youll have any trouble using it with your Mark lV.I just love this product.

Q: 4. I bought the Spider Pro Handstrap, but have lost the snap-on wrist strap that came with it. Can I purchase a new snap-on wrist strap separately?

A: Christine: I think your best bet would be to phone customer service at SpiderPro and tell them you lost the strap. They might sell or give you a new one.

Q: 5. How does this strap fit in small hands? My hands are a little less than 5 inches

A: The straps would be adjustable.

Q: 6. I have a Nikon d700 and a d810. My usual wildlife lenses are the Nikkor 70-200mm and the 200-500mm. Would I be able to carry both these bodies and lenses using the dual belt system? Thanks!

A: Hi Shaymala! Thank you Jeff!.. Yes, the SpiderPro Dual Holster will be most suited for this kind of rig. I would (for both lenses and especially if you are walking for long durations) make sure to connect via the lens collars (not the camera bodies). Carrying this way will balnace your heavy rigs. Please make sure you check that the Spider plates on these collars are situatred well, as large lenses create great amounts of rotational tourque. Depending on your Tripod style, you may want to look at our SpiderPro CLAMP (made for Arca-Swiss Style tripod plates).. Spider Holster will release a NEW lens collar plate (specifically designed for large lenses) this year, so please register with us. Thank you so very muchBest,S

Q: 7. What is the load capacity of each individual holster? I see the Black Widow suggests a 1kg limit and the Single Camera System suggests it is For Pro Cameras 5 lb and Up but I have found no rating for the dual camera system. I'd like to know if this is a viable solution for high mobility while lugging around a couple heavy camera and super telephoto lens combinations.

A: Each individual holster for the SpiderPro Dual Camera System can hold pro-body DSLR and lens combinations of five pounds and up. When using the dual system, it is advised to keep a shorter lens on one of the bodies for optimal comfort. An alternative option to the Spider Holster System would be the Peak Design CapturePRO, which can withstand up to 200 pounds and is a quick release system that will attach to any belt or strap: http://bhpho.to/1cmLndX

Q: 8. Does the belt cone with dual holster or sold separately

A: The box basically comes with the single holster belt but includes the second clip/holster and holster padding which you must assemble. There are no instructions in the box- just a card with the address on their website or YouTube to see instructions/video of how to add the second holster to the belt. Im assuming that they do this so because not everybody has the same size waist so you probably do need to figure out where to put the 2nd holster to fit your specific waist size.

Q: 9. Does this work with an L-bracket?

A: I have a L bracket (Really Right Stuff) on a D750 and it works. I connect. the Spider Pro Clamp directly and have had no issues

Q: 10. I have a Canon 60D with BG-E9 Battery Grip. Will the Spider Pro Hand Grip fit this configuration?

A: Should work fine. I'm using it with a Canon 7D with a battery grip.

I was very skeptical when I first saw this system at WPPI. I do not like slings or other camera straps that fasten to the mounting hole on the bottom of the camera as I use a tripod often. I thought it looked clunky and cumbersome too. I fell in love with the Spider Holster the moment I tried it on. It is comfortable, takes the weight off the neck and moves it to the the hips and waist where it is easier to carry the load. The cameras' stay put even with long lenses attached (I have the dual system and both cameras stay put and are easy to reach). I can actually move about rather quickly without worrying about the cameras falling or having them flop around getting damaged in the process. Additional safety comes in the form of a latch that locks, not allowing the camera mount to slide out of the holster. The camera mounting bracket is made of cast steel and has a a spring-loaded, integral storage pocket for the included Alan wrench that tightens the mounting screw to the camera, a real welcome feature. I mentioned that I do not like straps that fasten to the bottom mounting hole on the camera due to the fact that I use a tripod and usually have the tripod mount on my cameras. I have Manfroto tripods and found the mounting bracket can be fastened to the Spider mounting plate. In addition, the mounting plate stays firmly in place on the Spider mount unlike others I have tried. Another big plus! After purchasing the holster at the show, I fastened my 5D with the 24-70 lens and walked the exhibition all afternoon. After a few minutes, I did not even realize that it was there. that is how comfortable this belt is. when I did need the camera, it was right there and easy to retrieve. Overall, the Spider Holster is very well thought out and of excellent quality and construction. It is easy to wear and convenient to use. I am completely impressed!

I love this belt! It is so comfortable to wear on your hips. The camera locks or unlocks easily. The camera is not in your way and its so easy to pull out the camera. The belt is made of strong fabric with a velcro strip which I can hang from. Its that strong. I recommend this highly. I'm so glad my son, the photographer, put me on to it. Love, love, love!

I am using this for my second camera so that I don't have two hanging around my neck. Haven't used it all day on the job yet, but I will update my review when I do. Seems like it will do what I need it to.

I tried just about everything, i search for the right thing to hold my cameras. The black rapid (both single and dual), money maker, camera bag - nothing felt right. The bodies would swing all around, knocking into things, and my body would still ache the next morning. I saw a photo of a photog wearing the spider and although I didn't have very high hopes (after so many disappointing purchases), figured I'd give it a shot. My first use of the spider (single) was for a double-header weekend, which I found to be the perfect way to gauge whether or not it'd be a good fit for me. Much to my surprise, I woke up Sunday morning with zero pain at all. I upgraded to a dual holster in October. Being a lefty, grabbing a camera from my left hip doesn't bother me quite that much. I also haven't really had any issues crouching down for a shot. The downside is when having two camera attached, I'm unable to wear my camera bag (an extra lens and set of batteries). The belt is heavy and I do find myself having to adjust my pants fairly often (I should really get a belt), but it is far better than the alternative straps I have tried.

I have purchased four of these, not all pink, from B&H. With proper installation they are really nice. Takes just a bit of getting acquainted and too tight is defin

This hand strip is easy to attach and can be used with tripod mounts attached. It is extremely well made. I have health issues and needed something I could count on to protect my equipment. I know with this strap I will not drop my camera. I can hang my hand down while walking and it doesn't fall off. It is really amazing. I am extremely happy I purchased this. One of my favorite camera accessories I have bought.

I got a hand strap several years back when i started using a waist holster to carry my camera & heavy lens around (70-200mm) the hand grip made it much more secure to remove the camera & lens from the holster. this is the old model of the SpiderPro - it has a plastic head that goes through the camera slot to help hold it in place where the new model looks to have a plastic snap instead. the plastic head on my last hand grip would slip out occasionally and eventually broke off - which is why I am replacing it. I have tried other hand grips & find the SpiderPro more comfortable & supportive while carrying a heavy camera.

I had a hand strap similar to this one and really liked it. This spider hand strap is better made and looks more durable. I like the way it feels and how secure the camera feels with it on.
