The olive green Leofoto MT-02C Mini Tabletop Travel Tripod is a carbon fiber desktop tripod that provides a quick and efficient way of adjusting the legs into different positions. Instead of knobs or levers, knurled leg locks allow independent leg adjustment. The legs can be set into three different positions: 30°, 60°, and 85°. Leg tension can be adjusted using the provided Allen key. The included LH-22 Mini Ball Head is made of anodized aluminum and offers a 1/4"-20 mounting screw. Combined, the tripod and head offer a 7.9" maximum height and 11 lb load capacity.

Q: 1. I have a Nikon D750 along with the following lenses - Nikon 24-120mm F4, Nikon 70-300mm F4.5/5.6, Nikon 85mm F1.8G, Nikon 50mm 1.8G, and a Nikon 20mm F1.8. The prime lenses should be ok. Any problem using this tripod with the two zoom lenses?

A: You should be fine except the 70-300 may be a little iffy. Make sure you are on a hard surface, use the delayer shutter release or remote, and use live view to prevent mirror shake. This tripod is great for places that do allow regular tripods, like the new World Trade Center.

Q: 2. Can the ballhead be removed and be replaced by a Leitz ballhead?

A: Yes, the ball head can be removed.

Q: 3. What is difference between TT-15B vs. TT-15 Mark II with CB-30D ball head. They look similar to me in terms of load capacity, but TT-15B seems quite cheaper?

A: The TT-15B has an integrated, non-removable ball head which is a simplified version of the CB-30D - it has no Panning Base or Friction Adjustment. The TT-15 M2 comes without a ball head - the CB-30D is an excellent companion ball head for it, but the TT-15 M2 can also be used without a ball head altogether.

Q: 4. Does this have a counterbalance?

A: Unfortunately, the Leofoto Fluid Head BV-1R does not have a counter balance.

Q: 5. Does this come with a quick release plate? If not what can you recommend?

A: The QP-144750 Quick Release Plate is well designed and has bidirectional slots and a lock button that make the mounting/unmounting more secure. The description is misleading where it says "Quick Release Systems not included," so I thought that I needed to add the QP-40 Quick Release Plate at $19.95 which is not as well designed as the included plate. You can compare the two plates if you search the Quick Release Systems accessories for this tripod and order extra QP-144750 plate(s) if you want.

Q: 6. Does this ball head include ball mounting bushing?

A: The Leofoto LH-55LR Ball Head with LR-70 Lever Release Clamp does not include a 3/8"-16 to 1/4"-20 Reducer Bushing. To mount the head to a tripod with a 1/4"-20 stud, get the Oben 3/8"-16 to 1/4"-20 Reducer Bushing, BH #OB1039.

Q: 7. Can the ball head be removed or is it permanently attached?

A: On the TT-15B model, the ball head cannot be removed. If you want to be able to remove it, I recommend the regular TT-15 with the CB-30D ball head - this is basically what you are looking for.

Q: 8. how round is it? trying to figure out how chunky it is in the hand.

A: The diameter of the Leofoto Spider MT-04 Aluminum Mini Tripod with LH-30 Ball Head excluding knobs, is roughly 1.85" / 47mm. The legs themselves are squared off, and not round, so it would not be a totally smooth feel.

Q: 9. If i have an L Plate that is Arca Compatible do i still need to buy a quick release plate?

A: The L-Plate works like an Arca-Swiss style Quick Release Plate, so you will not need an additional plate.

Q: 10. What is its loading weight capacity?

A: The Lefoto BV-1R can support up to 6.6lbs.
