A: Always have backup batteries for this product because it can go at anytime. Agreed with other answer to switch up the battery and check the channel used. Also, might sound silly but make sure your wire connections/plug ins are all secure, nothing loose or adapters not fitting properly.

I have a canon 6d and have put the transmitter on the hot shoe of the camera and the red light has not light up even though i tried the 16 channels. the equipment is new so I may say the battery is new too... the connection in the impact vsd 160 monolight is ok... could it be a problem on the camera? A: I had the same difficulties with my trigger. I sent it back to the manufacturer and they said they could not find anything wrong with it. I did try I few things to troubleshoot it including the battery but it still didnt work. Impact said they would ask B&H to refund me.
