Developed for professional applications in the fields of studio recording, stage performance, TV/broadcast, live event, and home audio, the Palmer RIVER enz is a two-channel, line-isolation box used to eliminate ground-loop hum and interfering signals when connecting a media player or a laptop to a Hi-Fi or PA system. Featuring a passive design that requires no battery, RIVER enz utilizes galvanic-isolation technology via its two transformers to preserve the sound quality of the two audio channels. Use the ground-lift switch to disconnect the ground connections from the inputs and outputs and further eliminate hum loops.

RIVER enz's inputs and outputs are unbalanced RCA connectors, which are commonly found on Hi-Fi and consumer equipment. Engineered in Germany and built to last, the unit is virtually indestructible thanks to its rugged, aluminum-and-steel casing and reinforced connectors.
