Perfect size for me .Something what I was looking for.Good quality.Fits my full frame SLR with lens attached plus couple more lenses or one lens plus speed light.

True to form, MindShift has created another near-perfect bag with all the features I need, and none that I don't. I bought the PhotoCross 13 to accommodate my Canon R5 and 3 lenses.

Storage/access:
The side access makes gear easy to get to without taking the bag all the way off. The horizontal load orientation creates a balanced load and is not so roomy that lenses knock around. The main compartment easily fits the R5 body with 70-200mm lens attached, plus extra lens on either side, even with hoods attached. The flat front compartment with 2-sided zip fits my grey cards and lens filters. I've seen some reviews criticize this compartment as not opening up far enough, but I like it that I can easily slip my hand in, and nothing will fall out if it's not all the way zipped. Inside the main, there are smaller mesh compartments for batteries and the all-important snack.

Sizing - I am 5'4, 108 lbs. Finding a backpack that fits me well is difficult, but MindShift products work great. The bag doesn't feel small, just right.
The shoulder straps are padded but breathable, with adjustments at top and bottom. The waist belt is also comfortable, but about 4 too big on the smallest adjustment. I have an industrial sewing machine and can move the buckle attachment points back a couple of inches to perfect the fit, but this seems like a miscalculation in the design. If the rest of the bag can be adjusted to a really small person, the waist belt should be able to, as well. For the price, I am not at all upset.

I have not used the laptop sleeve or tripod carry yet.

The only thing I'd like that isn't present is some kind of security feature on the zippers. Photogs in my part of the world get robbed all the time, and any feature that helps deter that is appreciated.

tl;dr - I love this bag and really appreciate the minimal, non-pretentious design at a great price.

The interior compartments are flexible and so carry my stuff the way I want it. I carry things other than camera gear, so this is important to me. The bag doesn't go on as easily as I thought it would, but it's comfortable to wear.

My MindShift backpack is perfect, but was looking for a bag that could be used at the beach or on those rain wet days. I think the PhotoCross 13 is the answer.

The size for my Canon DLSR and 3 lens seems ok. The bag details, zippers, zipper pulls, materials, and etc. are top notch.

Not sure at this time how I'll like the shoulder strap. Wearing it around the house it seems better than it looked. Wish there were instructions on it adjustments.

You know, you move on in years, the hips are getting bad, the knees aren't that great, and then there's the arthritis in the lower back. Those messenger bags aren't that comfortable any more. Hurray for backpacks and the PhotoCross 13. My main camera is a Fujifim XT-3. The lenses I'm using most often, right now, are the 16-80, 16mm f/1.4, and the 80mm macro. This backpack is the smaller of the PhotoCross backpack duet. It is comfortable to wear, the straps offer great support, and the waist belt is a nice addition if you're packing a little heavier load. Don't need the belt? Take it off and stow it away. There is plenty of room for the equipment I listed. The XT-3 has the battery grip attached and fits just fine. There's room for batteries, memory cards, cleaning supplies, and filters. I appreciate the side access feature nullifying the need to take the bag off completely to get inside. I'm using it as a day bag, I'll use a larger bag if I'm traveling. Of course, who knows when we'll be traveling again? I'm uncertain why they designed space for a laptop in such a small bag. I would have preferred a slot for a water bladder. Oh well, there's room for a water bottle in the side pouch. It's Think Tank and MindShift so you know the quality is there. Consider it if you're looking for a smaller bag for a mirrorless setup or, maybe, a DSLR with one or two lenses.

I own lots of bags for photography (backpacks, etc) and this sling-type bag was perfect for my trip to Costa Rica. It easily holds a full-frame DSLR and two lenses plus lots of little pockets to hide items out of sight.

Great bag. Very convenient to have pockets and straps for all my gear needs.
