Dynamic EQ is a type of equalization that responds to the dynamics of the signal, as opposed to static EQ, which applies a set frequency response curve to all signals. Dynamic EQ can correct unwanted frequency responses in different spectrum parts or add excitement to a mix by boosting or cutting frequencies as needed.

The Air Band is similar to a high-frequency shelving filter, but the corner frequency stretches well beyond the audible range. This is helpful for adding sparkle and clarity to vocals and instruments, as well as bringing out other unique harmonic characteristics.

The Tilt EQ Band is akin to very wide high and low shelving filters at frequencies that result in a straight line / seesaw curve. This curve can be used to simultaneously boost one end of the spectrum while cutting the other.

The low- and high-pass filters are found on opposite ends of the Filter Graph. Low-pass filters eliminate frequencies above the cutoff frequency. High-pass filters do the opposite—they eliminate frequencies below the cutoff frequency.

Q: 1. can this dock's m.2 drive function without plugging in the included power supply? also what input voltages does the dock's power supply support?

A: No, you would need to plugin the dock with the included power supply to access the M.2 drive (which does not come pre-installed).

Q: 2. I know it's designed to reduce the effects of a room's acoustics, but how well does it dampen your singing? Would it help to allow practicing in an apartment setting without disturbing neighbours?

A: According to the product description it will give you up to 35dB of sound reduction. Which would be considerable if your interest is in reducing the level of your voice so as not to disturb your neighbors. It seems to have cut outs for your shoulders so it looks like your entire head fits in the box. It says you can remove the sides as well which you would want to do for recording. It seems like it will do what you want.

Q: 3. I have this microphone (Shure SM7B) - connected via an XLR cable/connector to a 28s pream/processor, then - from there via an xlr/cable connector into the XLR receptical (Mic1) into a Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 - USB Audio Interface box - then into the PC via a USB connector from the Focusrite (which I use just for the interface to the PC). I can't seem to get enough power out of the microphone for the levels to be at a normal (-12db) level in my recording software (Audition, and/or Captivate 8). I leave all of the processing in the 286 off... and just use the preamp phantom power feed to the microphone of 48v, with a 3/4 of total gain, then I also added gain at the Scarlite USB interface redbox. Still not enough to hear the microphone clearly. Any coaching tips? (Novice here). I've also tried adding gain -

A: As this is a dynamic microphone, no additional pre-amp or phantom power is requires. make sure phantom power on your interface is switched OFF . Recheck your cables for continuity as well.

Q: 4. how heavy is it?

A: Pyle Pro does not state the actual weight, but it is right around 5 lbs. Although not very heavy, the weight is not distributed evenly over the center, so it is recommended to use a heavy base mic stand, or tripod stand with no boom.

Q: 5. will it charge windows and Mac devices?

A: The SSD is preformatted HFS+ with Journaling for Mac OS 10.X and above. It can also be used with Windows 10 and later via a simple reformat. System Connection: 1 x Thunderbolt 3 Female USB: 1 x USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C (3 A) 2 x USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A (1.2 A) Thunderbolt: 1 x Thunderbolt 3 (87 W)

Q: 6. Power supply included ?

A: Yes, included in the box would be a 87W External Power Supply

Q: 7. Is the battery replaceable?

A: Yes it is user replaceable. Here is a link to the replacement battery: https://bhpho.to/33qO9Rg

Q: 8. So this you just plug into your output and will transmit the signal in the designated channel and then you can have as many PR-216 receiver to listen to the signal? Am I getting it right? is there a maximum number of receivers that I can use, will the signal get weak if I have a large number of receivers?

A: There is no limit on the number of receivers that can be used with the Comtek BST 75-216 P Mini Base Station Transmitter and the number of receivers does not affect the signal coming from the transmitter. There are different settings for the transmitter and recommendations for setup that can help to improve performance. Here is a link to the user manual which has all of the information: http://comtek.com/downloads/BST-75-216_manual.pdf

Q: 9. I already have a Polemaster camera to polar align my telescope, and it is easily removed from the telescope. Would that fit in this mount instead of my having to buy the iPolar camera (or the bundle that comes with iPolar)? Yes, I already know the visual polar scope can be used to align the mount, but accuracy is higher with a polar camera.

A: You can use this adapter: https://bhpho.to/2M9tuJP But you will need to perform some DIY to install the adapter onto a SkyGuider Pro DEC bracket. The opening on the DEC bracket is just a little bit smaller than the adapter.

Q: 10. Shure SM7B will work with the Roland R-26 recorder? Shure reports that SM7B requires a minimum of 59 dB gain. Rolnad R-26 in the specification has a -62dBu output level.

A: The DB range looks good on paper but you're going to be maxed out and get a quiet level that will make buying such a nice mic pointless. You'll need a pre-amp like a Cloudlifter or a Triton Audio Fethead in-line preamp (the cheaper option). Do NOT use phantom power on the Shure SM7B unless you want to ruin it. I use my Shure SM7B in my home studio with a DBX 286s preamp/processor. It's about $200 but it makes my audio national broadcast quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These headphones are super comfortable to wear. They are really light weight and have great access to the charging ports. I've been using them to switch between my laptop and cellphone during my work days and am able to transition between devices with no problem.

Above all, the audio quality of these headphones is amazing. I love hearing the extra basslines in my daily hip hop and rnb playlists - its been really refreshing having a new pair of daily drivers to use for work and casual laptop use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this product to review and it’s really nice even if they have the cord. The bass is great and when it comes the listening experience if you use classical music you can really hear everything clearly.

I've had a lot of different headphones/buds from JBL over the years but these are my favorite. This is my third or fourth pair of these earbuds. Not because they broke, but because I lost my first pair, put another through the wash and dryer, and loaned another pair to a friend and never got them back!

I keep coming back to these for three reasons. The battery life, the comfy fit, the overall quality for the price. The battery life is just great and they charge back up quick, what more could you ask for? I have small/weird ears (??) and a lot of normal in-ear buds won't fit or will hurt after just a few minutes of use. If you have a hard time finding comfortable in-ear buds, give these a try! Lastly, for the sound quality and the mic quality and just overall durability of these earbuds you can't beat the price anywhere else.

JBL is a high quality brand in the first place, so I'm always impressed by their prices, but these are probably some of the best quality buds in their price range across many brands. These really are my Goldilocks buds! I hope they keep releasing updated versions/colors of this design for years to come.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] JBL just never fails to impress me. The battery life is enought to last all day which is important to me. These headphones are not bulky at all, you can barely notice you have them on. The earbuds fit nicely and I like that I don't have to worry about losing the rubber tips. Amazing bass and sound quality as I've come to expect from JBL!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been very happy with this product! The sound is great and the microphone works perfectly. I forgot how nice it was to have your headphones connected. Allows you to move around in them and not worry about them falling out. Also, convenient to leave them around your neck or hang over your ear when not in use. Overall, they’re a great product!

With music you get your highes and lowes and calls clarity is crystal clear.
Quick charge time and enjoy them having a usb c port not worrying having to change cables to charge phone or headphones

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] THis product has been very useful for me and what my ears consider to be music. The design of the headset allows for comfort inside of your ear canals. The sound is classic JBL (The bass hits clean and pure while the treble is not high to drown out the music, but not to low to not hear it). The design of the product allows for comfort around your neck while the piece connected to the right side allows for cords to be put together.
