A: You are correct, the CRI is a bit low. This isn't meant to be a primary, production-grade instrument, but a quick and inexpensive item to throw into your travel bag, or the glove box in your car. You won't win any awards for excessively creative or inspiring lighting (probably), but you'll be able to shoot in the dark if you weren't quite prepared if you keep this handy.

A: Agreed with the low amp charge. We have used regular usb outlets and others at times as they are thats available, but always had no issues so far.These are great lights and use them along side with the Ikan Micro Spot lights when areas ar confined or just a little light is needed.

A: Lumens isn't quite the right way to measure the brightness of a light, since it refers to the amount of illumination on a flat square meter of space, in lux. At 3 feet, in the center of the beam, you get 1120 lux, and the light has a 30 degree beam angle. The rest of the math gets a bit too tricky for my pay grade from there, but the gist is that this light is strong for its size, and is for shooting a tight shot on a relatively close subject.

A: It's balanced for daylight so you can use it anywhere you need extra light for video or photography. It's bright for it's size, but not bright like a small on camera strobe. It's very suitable for what it was designed to be -- a small on camera video light. It's plenty bright for close video work such as on the spot interviews, close ups and such. For photography, since it's not bright like a strobe, I don't believe that it would be bright enough in many situations if you were going to diffuse or bounce the light, though I can see where it would be useful as a fill light, background light or light for highlighting hair in a portrait situation.
