Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does it accept 3G SDI level A, level B or both?

A: The MiNE Media R8 4G Bonding Video Switcher supports level A.

Q: 2. How is this any different than the OG box?

A: The YoloLiv Instream Vertical Live Streaming Encoder and Monitor is similar to the Yolobox. However this model runs the original Tik Tok and Instagram phone apps in a vertical mode.

Q: 3. Does the Director mini come with a power supply?

A: Yes, there is a universal power supply kit included in the box with the Magewell Director Mini Compact Live Streaming Encoder, Switcher, Monitor & Recorder.

Q: 4. Could you please expatiate on this response? "However this model runs the original Tik Tok and Instagram phone apps in a vertical mode."

A: Both Instagram and Tik Tok work with phone apps. You must use the Instagram phone app to connect with Instagram or you could be banned. Since the YoloLiv Instream uses the approved phone app from Instagram or Tik Tok you will not be banned for using a 3rd party solution.

Q: 5. what are the differences compared to the P2 version ?

A: The main difference between these units is the countries in which the cellular connection is usable. This Kiloview 4G Bonding HDMI Video Encoder for Outdoor Live or IRL Streaming (South America Only), B&H # KIKVWP2SA, only works in Central and South American countries, while the Kiloview 4G Bonding HDMI Video Encoder for Outdoor Live or IRL Streaming (North America Only), B&H # KIKVP2, only works in the USA and Canada.

Q: 6. Can the interface record to an external hard drive via the usb-c connection in the back?

A: No, the Mackie MainStream Live Streaming and Video Capture Interface would need a computer between an external hard drive and the mixer.

Q: 7. Can you also stream horizontal?

A: The YoloLiv Instream Vertical Live Streaming Encoder and Monitor is designed only for vertical use.

Q: 8. Can I input program output from ATEM mini?

A: If you are looking at adding more sources by "mixing down," with the ATEM into the YoloLiv Instream Vertical Live Streaming Encoder and Monitor, this will be a great option to do such.

Q: 9. Do these SIM slots support worldwide SIM cards or just USA?

A: Yes, the MiNE Media Q8 5G Live Streaming Bonding Video Encoder can work with Simms outside of the USA. The Mine Q8/A5/Q9/R8 use global modem, can support global 4G/5G sim card. Except M4 mini, which works with a different modem.

Q: 10. Is there a delay with a USB-C connected cam camera vs an HDMI with an XLR connected mic?

A: The camera inputs for video capture on a streaming device for both video and audio, like the Mackie MainStream Live Streaming and Video Capture Interface are HDMI, not USB-C. As another option for a similar device with an XLR mic input, you may like the RODE X Streamer X Audio Interface and Video Streaming Console.

The product is good and was simple to connect/install. I am still learning how to best use ROKU. The only thing I think should be changed is the "Home" button and "Back" buttons at the top on the remote should be reversed with the Home button on the left. When I want to click the "back" button, many times I have clicked the "Home" button which kicks me out and I have to re-enter the program I want.
