Named for its sharp, small, and centered spot of focus, the Nikon Z-mount Sweet 22 Optic from Lensbaby leverages the sea of impressionistic blur that surrounds the focal point into dramatic optical effects and dreamlike imagery for boundary-pushing creators. Compatible with full frame and APS-C sensors, its wide field of view and minimum focusing distance of 5" allow for distinctive separation of the subject from its surroundings, making the lens ideal for portraiture in both photo and video applications. Lightweight at 5 oz, its compact, pancake design and metal construction make the Sweet 22 a robust, reliable, and singular addition to any lens kit.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will it work on my Canon 5D? ( basic I Know!! )

A: Yes, this lens will work on your Canon 5D!

Q: 2. Will this work with Canon T7?

A: Yes, this will fit on all EF/EF-S mount cameras, like your EOS Rebel T7.

Q: 3. Will it work with s a canon 5d mark III ?

A: Got one two weeks ago. Works fine on my 5DIII.

Q: 4. My Canon R6 won't shoot with the Sol 45mm. I get F00 message. What's wrong?

A: As the Lensbaby Sol 45mm f/3.5 Lens for Canon EF Cameras is a fully manual lens and has no electronic contacts, the Canon EOS R6 Mirrorless Camera does not know a lens is connected when using this lens on the camera. As such, you would need to go into the camera's menu under the Custom Function Menu (Tab 4), and under [Release Shutter w/o Lens], select [ON: Enable], which will allow you to release the shutter of your camera when using the Lensbaby Sol 45mm f/3.5 Lens for Canon EF Cameras (or a third-party lens with a manual lens adapter).

Q: 5. There are two images of this lens. One is very short, like a pancake. The other is longer. Can you please explain the two different looks? I am looking at this for a Canon R5, if that matters.

A: Lensbaby desing this lens in 2 different size for different camera mounts. The correct image for the Canon RF mount is the third image in our website which is the largest version. The lens dimensions are 63mm x72mm (LxW), with a front diamter of 46mm to attach filters.

Q: 6. Is this comparable with. Nikon D5000?

A: No it is not. This is for the newer mirrorless cameras not the DSLRs.

Q: 7. How to know your lens thread count?

A: On most lenses there is a diameter symbol printed on the lens followed by a number such as Ø77. That would be the filter thread size of the lens. It is often on the inside of a lens cap too. If you cannot find the number, please contact us and we can help determine the size.

Q: 8. How is this different from a Lensbaby Sweet 50mm lens?

A: The main difference is how they mount to the camera. The Sweet 50 requires a Composer Pro lens to attach to the camera while the Sol 45mm has a direct lens mount.

Q: 9. Is it avalable for the canon mirrorless?

A: Yes, click the link below to view; https://bhpho.to/35PeeNk

Q: 10. Will it fit on a Nikon D500?

A: Yes, the Lensbaby Sol 45mm f/3.5 Lens for Nikon F Cameras, B&H # LELBS45N, would be compatible for use on the Nikon D500 DSLR camera. Do note that this is a fully manual lens with a fixed f/3.5 aperture. You will have to use the camera in either A (Aperture-priority) or M (Manual) mode, and to have the camera enter the EXIF data for the lens, you would have to go to the Setup Menu and go to the Non-CPU Lens Data section and enter the lens' focal length and aperture into the menu as stated on pages 250-252 in the Nikon D500 DSLR camera's instruction manual.
