The 1.6 x 7.87" Fomaspeed 312 VC RC Matte Photo Booth Paper from Foma features a very rich halftone scale ranging from shining whites to deep blacks. The paper is created using silver chlorobromide emulsion that gives it a neutral-to-medium-warm tone to the resulting silver image. It is a universal black-and-white photographic paper on a resin-coated (RC) paper base.

A: Typically, Canon's luster and glossy paper rolls have optical brighteners, and their matte papers do not.

Q: 8. What is the ISO speed of this emulsion?

A: There is no exact ISO for any liquid emulsion (such as the Fomaspeed Liquid Emulsion 1 kg + Hardener 15 ml) because it can vary from application to application. Generally, the more layers that are applied, the more sensitive the emulsion will be. However, the more layers of emulsion is applied to the base, the longer it will have to be exposed to get the full range of tones. Two layers (horizontal and vertical application - most common application) should be around ISO 1-3. This is also dependent on what kind of surface the emulsion is coated on.

A: The paper itself is not archival, but you wold be able to get kits to treat so it can become archival.
