The XIO 9040XC-3U SDI Cross Converter for XIO Rackmount Frame from Gra-Vue is an cross converter for broadcast applications that installs in the XIO series rackmount frames. It features and SDI input with loop out and two mirrored SDI outputs for the converted signal.

Note: This version is configured for the 1RU frame. There is another model available if you use the 3RU frame.

A: Yes. Set the SDI source to be the DUC (Down/Up Converter) set the DUC source to the HDMI input and set your DUC settings to whatever you need for your system. I have one dedicated to our churchs main worship space for such guest laptops and have never had an issue.

Q: 4. Does it pass over the Canon or ARRI recording trigger after conversion?

A: No, the DECIMATOR 12G-CROSS 4K HDMI/SDI Cross Converter does not pass recording triggers through the converter at this time.

A: Hi Mike, This is Jules from product support at Symbiosis, Decimator's master distributor for the US. The 12G-Cross supports all SMPTE formats up to and including 4K (4096) 60p. A: Decimator products are HDCP compliant, as in they wont allow you to make a flawless digital copy of a protected source.
