The XIO 9040XC-2AES-3U SDI Cross Converter for XIO Rackmount Frame with AES Audio Output from Gra-Vue is an cross converter for broadcast applications that installs in the XIO series rackmount frames. It features and SDI input with loop out and two mirrored SDI outputs for the converted signal. It also features two channels of AES digital audio output. These channels are de-embedded from the SDI input, and are using selectable via DIP switches on the board.

Note: This version is configured for the 3RU frame. There is another model available if you use the 3RU frame.

A: We've never measured the delay. We typically account for 2 frames per second when doing any converting with these.

A: I do technical support for Symbiosis, Decimator's master distributor in the US. The MD-HX can remap audio channels to move incoming embedded audio from a pair to one or more outgoing pairs, including between groups. It cannot currently combine audio pairs to perform a mix-down.
