Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does this case fit the Sony FX6?

A: Yes, the Sony FX6 Full-Frame Cinema Camera (Body Only) with accessories does fit within the Pelican 1510 Carry On Case with Yellow and Black Divider Set (Black).

Q: 2. Will this fit a Fujifilm X-T4, 16-55, 8-16 and a 50-140?

A: While you could make the gear fit, it would be a very snug fit. The width of the bag is smaller than the diameter of the FUJIFILM XF 8-16mm f/2.8 R LM WR Lens, so the bag would be stretched to fit the lens. A better recommendation would be the Billingham Hadley One Camera Bag (Khaki FibreNyte with Chocolate Leather), B&H # BIH1KCBS, which is wider and would better fit the items you list above.

Q: 3. Will the canon 600mm f4 ii fit?

A: Yes, technically the Canon 600mm F4 II will fit in the Pelican 1510 Carry On Case with Yellow and Black Divider Set (Black), as it measures 6.6" x 17.6". The Pelican case has the interior dimensions of (LWH) 19.8 x 11 x 7.6".

Q: 4. Do the two front pockets have snaps for closing? Or what type of closure do they have?

A: The pockets have snaps. You can see them on the other photos we have for the product.

Q: 5. Where is the bag manufactured?

A: All Billingham Bags are hand manufactured in England

Q: 6. Can it fit multiple telephoto lenses? Like a 70-200 and 60-600.

A: The interior dimensions of the Pelican 1510 Carry-On Case with Foam Set (Olive Drab) BH #PE1510FOD is 19.8 x 11 x 7.6" / 50.3 x 27.9 x 19.3 cm and it can fit multiple lenses but do check the dimensions of the lens to ensure they fit.

Q: 7. Would this item be able to carry a self contained potable sound system???

A: Yes, depending on item or can even be fabricated it the Pelican 1510NF case itself.

Q: 8. Does anyone have a way to successfully put labels on the trekpak material? I would like to label each pocket that I make with the dividers, but nothing sticks to the material very well

A: In general the partitions on the Pelican 1510TP Carry-On Case with TrekPak Divider System (Black) are not made to put labels on. If you can find it, labels with Velcro might work.

Q: 9. Made in the USA?

A: Yes, the Pelican 1510 is made in the USA.

Q: 10. What size laptop can this bag hold?

A: My 15 Macbook Pro fits nicely into the Hadley Pro along with a Fuji XE-2, three lenses, a flash and extra batteries and media.

I own a micro four thirds camera and numerous lenses. To carry my gear, I've purchased a number of great quality bags, but I still purchased the Billingham Hadley Pro, a shoulder pad and two AVEA 5 accessory bags. Why? As I indicated, the other purchases were great bags, but I needed a bag that also met the following criteria: 1. Had to fit under the seat of any airline I choose to take, to ensure I would never need to check my camera gear for any flight. 2. Had to fit the gear I plan to take while on a day trip, while keeping everything organized. 3. Had to be durable and weather resistant. 4. If it cost more than other similar bags, it would need to last long enough to justify the expense over time. 5. It had to be somewhat modular, to allow me to use different configurations for varying shoots and gear combinations. The add-on AVEA bags allow for this. 6. It had to be small enough and stylish enough to qualify for not being checked at most venues while traveling. (Museums, galleries, shows, etc.) The Hadley Pro ticked all those boxes.

My wife searched the internet for a bag that would fit her needs as she was investing in a relatively expensive camera. This was the bag she settled on. When we received it, she was very happy that this was the bag she chose. It is constructed very well, the size and portability are just what she was looking for and the bag is very attractive.

I am using this bag when I want to travel light (bag is very sturdy and very light weight) with one body (either my XT-1 without battery grip or EX-2) and up to four extra lenses. I can also use it with my three main zoom lenses, the 10-24, 50-140, and the 18-55. Impressive craftsmanship and I recommend also getting the padding for the shoulder strap. In my opinion, it should be included for the price of the bag.

I use this as a camera bag for a Leica M, and as a work bag on occasion. It's a classy bag of superb quality that gets the job done. Don't let the underwhelming pic of the burgundy version fool you either--this piece is amazing when you see it in person.

Like all other camera bags, the Billingham Hadley Pro can be considered in the context of comparison with other bags. That said, here are the other bags I have that it can be compared to: the Billingham briefcase, the Billingham Series 3 bag (now discontinued, but similar to the L4), and the Domke F-803 (one of my favorite camera bags). Of all of these other bags, the Domke F-803 is the most similar in shape and size. The style of the other Billingham bags matches the Billingham Hadley Pro. Some photographers may look down upon those who buy for that reason. But let's be honest. People don't buy a Ferrari just for its performanceit's also the styling. All Billingham bags offer great protection with the padding and water protection. But they also look great. If you need to carry both a briefcase and a camera bag, why not have them match? So, since I own these other bags, why did I spend the extra money for the Billingham Hadley Pro? It carries more gear than the Billingham Series 3 and it's faster to get to the equipment inside. The size is almost the same as the Domke F-803, but is waterproof while the Domke is not. The rear pocket of the Hadley Pro is zippered, while the Domke is not. The padding provided for the Hadley Pro and the divider for the Domke offer similar levels of protectionadequate, but not as much as the Billingham Series 3, which has stiffer padding as well as plywood at the base of the bag and metal studs at the bottom so that the bag can be set down without falling over. . I carry a Minolta CLE rangefinder with 28, 40, and 90 mm lenses, a flash, some other accessories, and an Apple iPad. Plenty of room for everything. The big pockets on the front are useful and close with snaps instead of Velcro. The bag does not include the excellent shoulder pad, so be sure to order it if you buy the bag.

I keep a mirrorless camera system (Fuji XT-1) in the bag along with a zoom lens, an H4N recorder, an Apple MacBook Air and back up batteries, cables. It's a snug fit, a perfect fit. That's all in the main chamber. The bag is stylish and very easy to get in and out of quickly. This is easily the best photography bag that I have ever owned, to boot, it does not look like a photo bag and thus does not attract unpleasant attention when you are in situations where looking like a photographer or tourist is undesirable.

Sturdy construction. I love the quick release straps. They are so much faster and quieter than Velcro. I also like the waterproof fabric. Can't be submerged, but can certainly sit in the rain or on the floor of a boat, if necessary.

I have been a pro photographer (40 years) and the bag is light, well made and very strong, plus a great design.

Is use the Billingham Pro camera bag with a Fuji X-E2 camera, 5 lenses, a flash, extra batteries and charger, two lens filters, a lens pen, small flashlight and microfiber cloth. All this in a very compact bag that oozes quality and style. A bit pricy, but I expect this bag to last a lifetime. Highly recommended.

This bag is made of the finest materials and has plenty of room for most photographers. In it I carry my Olympus EM-1, the 12-40 PRO lens and the 40-150 PRO lens, the FL-600R flash, the 60mm 2.8 macro lens plus the usual extra batteries, memory cards, remote control, etc. Still has extra room in the front pockets. The comfort pad on the strap should be included at no extra charge and the strap removable.
