A: The Ronin-S has an 8 pound load capacity and a slanted back motor. You should be able to balance a camcorder like the Z90 on this gimbal. You may need to remove the XLR top handle from the Z90 for it to balance and may have a limited range of motion when compared to using a Mirrorless or DSLR camera on the gimbal.

A: Yes, the Ronin-S is fully compatible with the Canon EOS-1DX Mark II.

Q: 4. Has anyone used the Ronin-S with a Sony XLR-K2M? It can obviously hold the weight, but will the camera slide left enough the counter the heavier right side with the XLR plugs?

A: The addition of the XLR-K2M, along with any microphones you may put on it, will alter the overall height and possibly length of the Sony Alpha camera used on the Ronin-S. It may be possible that it will balance, but this is something you will have to test out to see the results for yourself. Q: 5. Will this work with Fujifilm XE3?

A: With gimbals, there are two compatibility questions: 1. Will the gimbal handle the weight of the camera. The answer is yes on the X-E3. 2. Will the camera connect electronically. The answer is the X-E3 is not on the DJI compatibility list. That means no remote control.

Q: 6. Do you need the app in order to balance/use this or the Ronin M, or does it just help fine tune?

A: The App is not required to balance this gimbal. However it is very helpful to use for fine tuning.
