Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. how hard/easy is it to program the frequencies into the radio ?

A: You do not program this radio, it is set for GMRS frequencies when recieved

Q: 2. Will this work with ew G4 IEM?

A: Yes, the Sennheiser 576131 Antenna can be used with the SR IEM G4 stereo transmitter that is included with the EW IEM G4 system.

Q: 3. what purpose is the power input and power output?

A: The PA411 not only distributes the RF from the antenna but also power to additional PSM transmitters. It will cut down on the amount of power suppiles needed in the rack.

Q: 4. We ordered this as a replacement part but it is the 6 model and we need the 12 . I do not see the 12 on your site, is it available?

A: Yes it is parallax free. Where the parallax turret would normally be is the adjustment for reticle color and brightness are selected using a dedicated side turret.

Q: 5. Do I need to purchase anything else beside the antena?

A: This should work with any receiver but this antenna needs DC power. Many receivers can supply DC at the antenna port, but if yours does not you'd need to consider how you are going to supply power to it. You can use a DC power supply if you are close enough to an AC outlet. If not, you'd need to supply power via a DC inserter between the receiver antenna jack and the cable to the antenna. Lectrosonics makes this. Part number is BIAST and also needs a CH12 power supply.

Q: 6. are These antennas compatible with Sennheiser G4 EW100 Receivers?

A: Yes, the Sennheiser HALF WAVE DIPOLE Half-Wave Antenna Rods for EW-D EM Receiver are also compatible with EW100 G4 receivers operating within the 470 to 550 MHz frequency range.

Q: 7. Can I use these with an antenna distribution system, instead of the shark fin style? So 4 receivers would be patched into 1 of these antennas...

A: An antenna of this type would not be recommended for a distribution unit. They are designed to be used as a pair with a single receiver, and will not work properly connected to an antenna distro carrying multiple signals.

Q: 8. are these antenna compatible with the XSW Band A iem?

A: The Sennheiser HALF WAVE DIPOLE Half-Wave Antenna Rods for EW-D EM Receiver are not intended for use with an IEM transmitter.

Q: 9. what is the gain of the antenna?

A: Regarding the Sennheiser HALF WAVE DIPOLE Half-Wave Antenna Rods for EW-D EM Receiver (Pair, Q: 470 to 550 MHz) and what is the gain of the antenna, it is 2.15 dBi.

Q: 10. what is the length or dimension of the antenna?

A: The Sennheiser HALF WAVE DIPOLE Half-Wave Antenna Rods for EW-D EM Receiver are 13.5" (344mm) long.
