Related Questions and Answers
Q: 1. Can the f stop be changed to t? Thank you.
A: Light meters like the Keks KM02 OLED Light Meter will only list the aperture in F stops.
Q: 2. Can I calibrate the meter?
A: No, the Sekonic Illuminometer i-346 Light Meter does not have a self-calibration option.. You would have to send the meter to Sekonic for calibration needs.
Q: 3. What this meter be good for someone trying to stop using auto mode and learn manual mode on their camera?
A: Possibly. It could help you understand the difference between a reflective reading (what all cameras give you) and an incident reading. (this meter can give you reflective and incident readings. And if you're planning to use studio flash it can be invaluable. But you can learn a lot just by putting your camera in manual mode, put your camera's meter in spot mode, and then just pay attention to how the camera indicates changes in exposure value (EV) when you put the spot on subjects of different brightness. Take pictures using the different readings and see how the overall picture brightness shifts.
Q: 4. Thinking of getting a KEKS KM-Q for my Yashica Mat 124 TLR. Which one should give me ease of use, Back Display or Top Display?
A: The Keks KM-Q Light Meter with Back Display (Chrome) is best for the Yashica Mat 124 Twin-Lens Reflex.
Q: 5. Where is this light meter manufactured? Thank you.
A: Currently this meter is manufactured in the PHILIPPINES.
Q: 6. I AM LOOKING AT THE OWNERS MANUAL AND NOWHERE DOES IT SAY IT CAN BE USED WHEN SHOOTING IN MANUAL MODE...…. CAN I USE IT IN Manual mode?
A: Yes you can , the light meter is made to give you the reading for manual use
Q: 7. Would it be able to do a cordless setup with the new Godox XProS TTL Wireless Flash Trigger?
A: Handheld light meters measure light, therefore nothing to trigger. Regardless of the light brand or model, once you trigger the lights (via a wired or wireless transmitter) the Sekonic will give you a measurement. You will need to imput ISO and decide what kind of measurement you want, i.e. f stop or shutter speed. Set the Sekonic to read flash and place it in front of your subject with the dome aimed toward the light source. The display will show ISO, f stop and shutter speed once the flash has been triggered.
Q: 8. What is in the box?
A: The actual light meter, a USB-C cable, three different size shoe mounts (aluminum shoe mount included), and a limited 1-year manufacturer warranty are included with the Keks KM02 OLED Light Meter (Black), B&H # KEKSKM02B.
Q: 9. Does the shutter speed reading change in one-third increments? for instance, can a flash reading be achieved at 1/320 second or does the shutter speed selection only read in full stops like 1/125, 1/250, 1/500?
A: This light meter goes in 1/10th increments.
Q: 10. Is this still made in USA like the earlier Spectra IV was?
A: The Spectra Cine PRO V Exposure Meter with TFT Display is manufactured in the US.
