It is only noticeable when seeing low colors but it is not noticeable when playing. It is strange. I only ask if it is something normal from the factory. It does not affect it at any time. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LG has delivered once again the best OLED display of the year. This display has the deepest blacks I have ever seen. The gorgeous aesthetics and sleek design just makes it a complete package. When I turned on the display for the first time I thought why isn’t it turning on. Then the LG display logo appeared on the screen and I was like what!?!??! The monitor was on the whole time as it was booting to Windows.

I was using it in the windows atmosphere and I have to say the 240 Hz was buttery smooth. Checking videos for comparison against my own old monitor just blew it out the waters. This monitor is for those who want the best.

Gorgeous colors, true blacks, and unbelievably responsive. Ticks all the boxes and even has some creature comforts baked in that I wish all monitors had (auto screen saving mode). I don’t understand the gripes about the non-glossy screen (especially from those who haven’t used the monitor), in my opinion it doesn’t hinder the experience whatsoever, only improves it, as the deep blacks you experience on this panel would act as a mirror on a gloss surface at monitor distance. Overall, it’s the best of the best.

Yes, it does hinder how the screen looks but it still looks better than IPS!

The peak brightness is a bit low, so it doesn’t shine in very bright rooms, however, it DOES shine in little (Ring Lights or LED Lighting if you’re streaming is perfect!) to No light rooms (When you’re just hanging out in the dark).

It’s fantastic.
The colors are beautiful.
The input lag is nearly non-existent.
The response time is phenomenal.
And it’s 240hz!!

I am a gamer, I’m on an esport team, and I play a variety of games competitively.
This monitor is FASTER than my 360hz TN monitor.
Not in Refresh Rate, but PURE response time.
It feels smoother and crisper than any TN I’ve used!

The anti glare matte screen does suck, but it does one thing good, blocks ALL reflections. All of them.

If a tad bit dull screen doesn’t bother you, this monitor has 1000 PROS and only 1 Con!

Most games are usually brightly light so I didn't realize I'd appreciate having OLED panel for darker scenes. Wow. The colorful lights in the back is an extra bonus and the overall profile of this monitor looks very sleek. I do wish it was 4K but perhaps LG will release that next!

I would recommend this monitor to any esports players, streamers & OLED enthusiasts. My only gripes with the monitor include its matte finish, lower brightness & fact that the monitor is not 4K. Comparing to my 42in C2 monitor, this smaller form factor will be a welcoming addition to my desk. Please LG, make a 32in 4K OLED, high refresh rate monitor with the choice between glossy or matte! The option for the 27in versions to not include matte finishing would also be greatly appreciated.

Overall, I am thoroughly impressed and cannot wait to see what’s next!

I went with the LG because I’ve owned LG’s oled big screen tv’s for years now, two of which are there very early models, they still look amazing and work flawlessly.

You don’t go to a restaurant you love over and over again without having your favorite meal from that particular restaurant do you? No! You go to that restaurant to get that particular meal, over and over again, because you know they make it better than anyone else!

That’s how I feel about LG’s oled technology. They’re the pioneers. I know they look amazing and I haven’t had a single issue with the 3 LG tv’s that I own. I know monitors are different but I wouldn’t drop this kind of money on a monitor from anyone else.

Now to the monitor, it’s amazing. The crispness of the image, the contrast, the detail, everything is just nice on the eyes. My favorite part though…the response time! As someone who only plays FPS shooters on a pretty competitive level, the response time is what I really noticed, it’s something you don’t realize until you play on one, the input is instant.

I see a lot of people complain about the brightness or lack of on these monitors and I don’t see how, unless your using it in a sunroom on a bright sunny day or something, in which case maybe they should go outside. The monitor is plenty bright, bright enough for me to turn down the brightness because if it’s all the way up it makes my eyes tired…that’s my test on brightness you nits!

Anyways, I’m very happy with my purchase. If I had to make the decision of which monitor to buy again, I would gladly purchase the same exact monitor.
