A: I am not an Adobe representative, but here is the way it worked for me. I bought a 12 month subscription from B&H. This gets associated with your account at Adobe when you first install, and each month Adobe deducts 1 month. Then, last April I bought another 12 months from Kelby One. They gave me a code, which I uploaded through the Adobe Creative Cloud App. So, for example, if there was 3 months left on the account from the first purchase, I then would have 15 months credit on the account. I am fairly sure that Adobe won't know to extend the subscription unless you upload the code, however.

A: This Creative Cloud product is for both Lightroom, and Photoshop. There is no discount for pre existing software.

Q: 10. Will my current LR 6 catalog automatically be added to the LR CC software?

A: I upgraded from LR 5 to LR CC and the catalog was updated correctly when I ran LR CC. It also kept my old version of the LR 5 Catalog as well, so I could always go back if I needed to (but never did need to, so I deleted the old catalog after a few days of using LR CC. I am willing to bet that the same will happen if you upgrade from LR 6 to LR CC.
