A: The Nikon Fieldscope ED50 comes with a soft padded stay on case. You can use the case to carry the scope and you can leave the case on while using the scope.

I am a little worried about it as the last model had a course and fine focus and I wanted this primarily for target shooting. A: I have both and prefer the new focus ring. Smooth as silk and stays put once in focus. It also is much faster than the old style to focus. The optics are a tad bit better on the new one as well

A: Yes and it works great because it always stays on the scope, it has Velcro so you can pull it back while your using it and it has a zipper on the objective lens end of the protective case. The case also works when its on the tripod

A: Angular: 1.7 - 0.84, and Linear: 88 - 44' @ 1000 yd 29 - 15 m @ 1000 m. Unfortunately the Manufacturer does not supply that specifications of what the Focal Length is on this scope. I am very sorry.

A: The foot on the Nikon scopes is not Arca compatible. So far very few brands make scopes with an Arca compatible foot. You can attach an Arca compatible plate to the foot to use it on your Really Right Stuff tripod.
