In other words: Yes. It will fit based on the ZH1 dimension specs, but will be clamped in against rubberized metal. Doing this will work, but render useless the inner shock-mounting bands(closest to Mic chamber), but you will still have shock-mounting bands between the chamber and boom pole mount... So less shock/sound transfer up the boom pole than if you used no mount, but not as optimal as having a mic(or Zoom H1) actually suspended in the inner shock bands also... The good thing though is your ZH1 isn't likely going to fall out!;)
