Q: 3. Will this cover a D500 with 200-500 lens on Wimberley gimbal head?

A: No, the LensCoat RainCoat Large Sleeve rain protector will cover the Nikon D500 with the Nikon 200-500mm lens, but not if it is mounted on a Wimberley gimbal head. A better rain protector would be the Vortex Media Pro SLR Storm Jacket Camera Cover, X-large: https://bhpho.to/2Y31JYh

Q: 4. How does one access the zoom on say a Nikon 200-500mm lens? Do you go through the velcro enclosure on the bottom?

Q: 5. I don't use a tripod, hand hold and adjust zoom. Will I be able to do this with the lenscoat on?

Q: 6. the guy in the video acted like he was using the viewfinder, but you can't see out of the viewfinder lol. Right?

A: Yes, it is possible to use the viewfinder or LCD screen when using the LensCoat RainCoat Small Sleeve. The back may be used either open or closed.

A: Yes, through the back but not under the lens. You would have to work the zoom/focus by going through the back opening.

Q: 9. Will it fit a Nikon 600mmE F4 lens and attached camera?

A: This cover is 21 long. The NIKKOR 600mm f/4E FL ED VR Lens is 17 plus your 3 thick Nikon camera totaling 20 , you are good to go.

Q: 10. I'm looking for a raincoat for an Fujifilm XT-20, and this is the smallest size I could find. Is it still too big? I can see it maybe working with the 55-200mm lens, but what about the 18-55 and 35 (f/2)? Does anyone know of a more adequate alternative? Thanks.

A: Yep, too big...'don't know of an alternative...sorry.

I bought the Celestron Ultima 80 for shooting out to 200 yards with a .223. I wanted to see the holes easily. I did a lot of research before picking this model. It came down to this or a Kronus of similar specifications. Against white paper background and with Shoot-N-C type targets it's easy to do with the Ultima 80. Against black backgrounds it is a little tougher. .30-cal holes show up much better. Still, for the price this is an exellent spotting scope. I find it to be well made. I would recommend a sturdy tripod though as it is front heavy but it is well made and is pretty much what I need for that application and the picture is very clear.

This is an update from earlier. I bought this scope to replace a Simmons 20-60x60, and can't believe how much better this one is. I used it extensively in June in Yellowstone National Park for viewing wolves and grizzly bears, some at over 2 miles away. The sharpness was fantastic and had very good low light performance. Even at full magnification, the image was more than acceptable. While in YNP, I compared my scope to some of the much more expensive models, and honestly couldn't see a big difference. Eye relief was very good and did not bother my contact lenses, unlike my Simmons. Highly recommended.

I am upgrading from a Simmons 20-60x60mm that I bought from @. Much better scope! I will be using this in Yellowstone for watching wolves and bears at great distances. I've tested it already and it has a great eyepiece, very bright and clear, and easy to focus. It does get some vignetting at 60x but nothing that is a problem. I will update when I get back from my trip in June.

Excellent product for the money. Waterproof and comes with a soft case. I added a ballmount and small tripod, perfect for shooting sports. Definitely buy the phone holder if you can't find the bundle that B&H had when I bought it.

This spotting scope is extremely bright, clear, the definition is awesome, and it's easy to focus! It out performed other brands of scopes at higher, to much higher price points! I could easily see 22 cal. bullet holes at 200 yards and 30 cal. holes at 300 yards in the black areas of a target, and it was an overcast day! I am confident that I could see 30 cal. holes at 400 yards and more, if I find a rifle range that offers that and longer distances.
