The MXA Mute Button (Blank) from Shure is an elegant, configurable, PoE-powered mute button for Shure networked audio products, including Microflex Advance Array Microphones as well as the IntelliMix P300 and IntelliMix Room DSPs, and the ANIUSB-MATRIX. Depending on your needs or room configurations, one or many of these low-profile touch-sensitive buttons can be configured to mute one or multiple microphones. This version of the button is blank, without the muted microphone icon design.

A: The Rolls MM11 is a momentary (non-latching) switch so you need to hold it down to function. It can be set to work as either a "push to talk" or "push to mute" switch. An internal switch (accessible from the side) allows you to choose how it will function.

Q: 2. Hi .. a few questions: 1) when was this Nz model released; I'm assuming that its s few years ago because the remote is only compatible up to iPhone 6 2) I have a 8Plus, will the remote work using the headphone plug in adaptor? Thanks

A: Its the latest model of the Zn, the sound is great and the remote works when the headphone adapter is used.

Q: 3. Is there a way to stop the popping noise? It happens every time I mute and unmute myself.

A: After initial setup and the popping noises, I left for a couple of hours and came back, and... no more popping. I emailed Kopul customer support, and they shared the real answer: First, make sure the Mutemate is set to Dynamic mic setting. The Mutemate passes phantom power for condenser mics, so when switching to dynamic from condenser, you need to hold the button down for approx. 30 seconds to dissipate the phantom power stored in unit. Otherwise you will get the popping sound in the first initial uses. So make sure you are set to dynamic, and hold the button down for 30 seconds. This should alleviate any popping. I have a dynamic mic, but I had initially tried this on Condenser mode. That lingering power needed to dissipate before this could work as intended.

Q: 4. Do they have an Android version of the remote?

A: They only make a remote compatible with Apple devices unfortunately.

Q: 5. Will this work on the Nikon Zf?

A: Yes, the Clever Supply Co. Brass Soft Shutter Button (Brass) will work on the Nikon ZF.

Q: 6. How long does the battery last?

A: There is no indication provided for the life expectancy of the 3V CR 1220 lithium battery provided to power the LED light on the Kopul MuteMate 2x2 Momentary Microphone Mute/Talk Switch. Due to its simple, non-demanding functionality it would be estimated to last through a significant amount of use.

Q: 7. Does this work on the Leica M2?

A: The Clever Supply Co. Brass Soft Shutter Button cannot be tested in the M2 but it will fit any camera that has a threaded shutter button.

Q: 8. Does it require the battery for all mic types and does it come with a battery?

A: The Kopul MuteMate 2x2 Momentary Microphone Mute/Talk Switch is a passive switch which does not require a battery to function with any type of microphone. A 3V CR 1220 lithium battery is included with the MuteMate 2x2 and the battery is used only to power the LED indicator light. Since the switch is passive, it will function regardless of whether or not the battery is used.

Q: 9. I want to attach a Peak Design anchor to the Kirk LP-70 I just ordered. Is the QD needed and or helpful?

A: Yes, you can connect the Peak Design AL-4 Anchor Links to the Kirk QD Quick Disconnect Push Button Swivel-D if you want to attached a shoulder strap to the Kirk QD button. Kirk QD button is a proprietary connector, which allow you to quickly connect or disconnect lens foot or other accesories may by Kirk.

Q: 10. Does this work with Beats Studio pro. Not all cables fit in the aux port and I want to be sure this one does.
