  • 7000W, 2-channel amplifier with up to 3500W output per channel and NomadLink network for monitoring and control
  • Selectable gain plus scalable Voltage Peak Limiter (VPL) and bridge-mode operation allow custom configuration for any application
  • Proven and reliable Class-TD output stage delivers Class A/B audio quality with Class-D efficiency
  • Regulated Switch Mode Power Supply (R.SMPS) ensures constant power output at all times
  • Intuitive DeviceControl software monitors and controls key functions via the NomadLink network
  • Comprehensive protection scheme including current, voltage, DC, temperature, short circuit, and open load warnings
  • Efficient Intercooler copper cooling system dissipates more heat for extended peak output
  • Two balanced analog audio inputs and two link outputs on Neutrik XLR connectors
  • 2 NL4 Neutrik speakON output connectors
  • Removable dust filter grilles for increased air circulation
  • Rugged 2 RU rackmount chassis for durability in touring applications

  • The FP 7000 is shipped with a NomadLink network interface as standard. In conjunction with DeviceControl software, NomadLink allows monitoring of all key amplifier parameters and remote control of power on/off, channel mutes, and channel solo functions.
  • NB. NomadLink requires the separate NLB 60E NomadLink Bridge & Network Controller

  • View all key performance parameters at a glance—in real time—on the comprehensive front-panel display.
  • The FP+ provides the most complete and useful front-panel indication on the market today.
  • Bright, color-coded LEDs give clear status indication of all control activation, warnings and faults—without scrolling through menus.
  • Conditions such as blown drivers, shorted lines, and over-temperature channels are easily recognizable.

The FP+ rear panel provides all the input and output connections you'll need plus RJ45 in and out for NomadLink control and monitoring. With the DIP-switch matrix, you can assign a hard or soft attack to the limiter functions, set overall gain to one of seven different levels, bridge any pair of channels, and set the VPL for optimum output characteristics with the connected load. All in a matter of seconds while the amp is in the rack.

  • To achieve the extreme power-to-size ratio in the FP+ Series, LAB GRUPPEN engineers refined and upgraded two proprietary technologies: the regulated switch-mode power supply (R.SMPS) and the patented Class TD output stage. Both are incorporated in all four FP+ Series amplifiers. Working together, this new generation of proprietary circuits produces more power from a smaller package, while at the same time, maintaining LAB GRUPPEN’s peerless reputation for sonic excellence.
  • To ensure efficient, uniform cooling, the ultra-efficient Intercooler uses thousands of tiny cooper cooling fins to increase exposure of the heat sink to the cooling air flow. Twin variable-speed fans respond to temperature sensors, forcing air over the Intercooler fins in a front-to-rear flow. All output devices are mounted transverse to the airflow, so the cooling effect is uniform. There are no “end-of-tunnel” output transistors subject to greater warming and, consequently, possible premature failure.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can this unit measure PAR of grow lights. I see it measures PPFD. Is this PPFD the same as PAR? I'm new at grow lights. It looks to be the same. Ie mol m2 s-1 or. umol m2 s-1

A: No, the unit will only allow the following reading CIE1931/CIE1964 CIE1976/CIELUV CRI (Color Rendering Index) Correlated Color Temperature (TCP) Deviation (Δ uv) Dominant Wavelength (λd) Footcandle Horizontal Footcandle (HFc) Lux Lux Sec (HLx) Peak Wavelength (λp) Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density (PPFD) Purity (Pe)

Q: 2. Can this unit be calibrated and/or certified for industries that require measurement with calibrated/certified instruments?

A: Calibration and possible certification are done by the USA distributor of Sekonic. https://bit.ly/3BmQwoK .

Q: 3. Is CD recording is the same as burning a CD?

A: In a traditional sense, burning a CD refers to the process of transferring file information stored on a drive onto a CD disk. CD recording, as a function of the Tascam SS-CDR250N Two-Channel Networking CD and Media Recorder, refers to writing information to a CD from an external input source connected to the Tascam.

Q: 4. What's the diference between this and the C-800?

A: The Sekonic C-7000 Spectrometer Color Meter BH #SEC7000 is designed for industrial applications and the C-800 is designed for photo and video based work.

Q: 5. Can this record from a source in from an amp? Also, can you just play a CD.

A: The input source connection to the Tascam SS-CDR250N Two-Channel Networking CD and Media Recorder could accept a non-powered signal from an amplifier's signal output. The SS-CDR250N is capable of playing back commercial audio and data CDs in a variety of formats.

Q: 6. does unit measure all reflected ambient light? Is there a recommended way to measure only the light source (black box or tent)?

A: The Sekonic C-7000 Spectrometer Color Meter Bundle Kit can read most type of light and can measure it in , CIE1931/CIE1964 CIE1976/CIELUV CRI (Color Rendering Index) Correlated Color Temperature (TCP) Deviation (Δ uv) Dominant Wavelength (λd) Footcandle Horizontal Footcandle (HFc) Lux Lux Sec (HLx) Peak Wavelength (λp) Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density (PPFD) Purity (Pe)

Q: 7. Can this be used for color analysis of roasted coffee beans ?

A: No, the following unit is a spectro but will only capture measurements of all forms of continuous light. Please review the following item if you are trying to capture the color code of a coffee bean. Datacolor ColorReader Color Matching Tool https://bhpho.to/3BLhrdS

Q: 8. Can this also be used to measure light levels (F stops)? Ambient, spot, or incident?

A: This meter can be used to measure incident light, measured as lux. There are no aperture or shutter speed or ISO numbers on this meter. These would need to be derived from the lux measurement and the ISO speed rating, to determine f/stops and shutter speeds. As a reference point for your calculations, Exposure Value (EV) 0 is equivalent to 1 second at f/1.0. At ISO 32 film speed, EV0 is the correct exposure for 10 lux incident light level. For ISO 500, at 110,000 lux, the correct exposure would be EV17. Remember that EV represents a collection of equivalent settings, so EV17 could be 1/1000 sec at f/11 or 1/500 sec at f/16 or 1/250 at f/22 or 1/125 at f/32 or 1/60 at f/44, and so on. For the same ISO 500 speed, 55,000 lux would require one unit lower EV than at 110,000 lux, thus 55,000 lux would require EV16 for ISO 500. With 110,000 lux and ISO 125, the correct exposure would be EV15. One of the possible shutter & aperture combinations for EV15 would be 1/250 at f/11. These examples should enable you to create exposure tables for yourself, relative to the lux readings you get from this meter. It does beautifully at measuring the spectrum of light sources and determining color rendering index and color temperature.

Q: 9. Does the C-7000 have a spot-metering accessory for reading reflected light? (For calibrating color off cinema screens)

A: No, at least as of September 2021, there is no accessory for the Sekonic C-7000 SpectroMaster Color Meter Bundle Kit (B&H# SEC7000K) to use it for spot metering.

Q: 10. Are the analog connectors available as inputs/outputs when running dante?

A: Yes, the analog input and output connectors on the LEA Professional CS164D ConnectSeries 640W 4-Channel Networked Amplifier are available when running the Dante protocol.
