Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. With a 100-400 zoom, what problems might I run into? Do you focus and zoom from the top outside the cinched up rain sleeve?

A: img/src=x test

Q: 2. Will this cover a D500 with 200-500 lens on Wimberley gimbal head?

A: No, the LensCoat RainCoat Large Sleeve rain protector will cover the Nikon D500 with the Nikon 200-500mm lens, but not if it is mounted on a Wimberley gimbal head. A better rain protector would be the Vortex Media Pro SLR Storm Jacket Camera Cover, X-large: https://bhpho.to/2Y31JYh

Q: 3. I'm looking for a raincoat for an Fujifilm XT-20, and this is the smallest size I could find. Is it still too big? I can see it maybe working with the 55-200mm lens, but what about the 18-55 and 35 (f/2)? Does anyone know of a more adequate alternative? Thanks.

A: This would be your best option to go with for the X-T20.

Q: 4. Will this fit a Canon 5D Mark III with a 400mm f2.8 lens attached?

A: Julia, I too have a Canon EOS 5D Mark III. I do not have a 400mm f2.8 lens. However, the RainCoat Rain Sleeve will fit my Mark III with my Sigma 150-600mm 1:5-6.3, zoomed out to 600mm, with room left over.

Q: 5. My D5300 with 70-300mm lens is just over a foot long with the lens hood when fully zoomed, would this work well or should I get the medium size?

A: I bought the small Raincoat for a mirrorless interchangeable lens camera, so even though I used the Raincoat with my long zoom lens, my whole set-up is much smaller than yours. Therefore, I have no idea which size Raincoat you should get, but when I bought mine, I called and spoke to a B&H employee to ascertain the correct size to get. I had measured my set-up, from the back of my camera to the tip of my lens w/ hood. With that info he was able to give me pretty accurate advice. Hope this helps. It's a good product.

Q: 6. does it have a opening for your hand to work the camera

A: Yes, through the back but not under the lens. You would have to work the zoom/focus by going through the back opening.

Q: 7. Will this be too big a rain cover for a 80D Canon plus the new 100-400L ll? Would the medium size be better (then I could use it with smaller lenses)? With either LensCoat sleeve, will focusing (through the velcro) be a frustrating experience?

A: Also, as long as you're not wearing gloves or sleeves made out something that the Velcro could catch on, the manual focusing shouldn't be a frustrating experience at all with your long lens. It is a bit impractical, though, if manual focusing your smaller lenses.

Q: 8. Will this cover fit well Fujifilm X-H2S with XF150-600 lens with the hood on and screen flipped out?

A: Yes, that setup will fit into the LensCoat RainCoat Large Sleeve (Realtree Max4) very well.

Q: 9. Will this feet a Canon 5d Mark IV and 600 III lens ?

A: Yes the LensCoat RainCoat Large Sleeve will fit a camera plus a 600mm f4 lens such as the Canon 5D Mark 4 and a Canon 600mm f4.

Q: 10. What is roughly the diameter of the front and rear openings?

A: The LensCoat RainCoat Small Sleeve (Black)has a lenght of 27'' on the front and rear opening.
