Was quite impressed with this. Doesn't feel too heavy and expands and contracts smoothly. This is replacing a wooden dowel that's I've use for years, but even so, this is much easier to store and use. 5

I am on the go and shooting in a lot of random places, my old backdrip sup was a sectional so when I got a new 10ft one it was either too big or too small. The telescoping makes it easier to get a perfect fit and I can adapt it to any stands with a standard pin. 5

I purchased this crossbar due to its feature of expanding and contracting to various sizes. It also makes it more portable compared to my previous unit that came in multiple pieces. When working on location it helps me keep a smaller footprint while remaining strong and easy to manage. When using seamless paper you'll have to unscrew one side and feed the paper through. The knobs are lubricated, but not too greasy. 5
