Related Questions and Answers
Q: 1. Will this film work with my Rolleicord ?
A: Yes, it is compatible with your Rolleicord.
Q: 2. I'm looking for film for an old Minolta Minoltaflex III. Will this work?
A: The Minoltaflex III was made to take 120 film. This will work.
Q: 3. What is the negative size of this film? Will it produce a 6x7 negative? I would like to use it with a Mamiya RZ67 Pro IID Pro Medium Format SLR Camera.
A: 120 film is the correct size film for the Mamiya RZ67 Pro IID Pro Medium Format SLR Camera. The film is 6 centimeters from top to bottom and you will be able to get 10 photos per roll of 120 film.
Q: 4. I am interested in this film, however, It's difficult to discern what the characteristics of the product are. "Altered hue, saturation, and contrast" does not communicate much to me about the product. The description is essentially: "it's different". How so? Is the contrast increased or decreased, vs something 'standard' like - say - Fujifilm X-tra 400? In what way is the hue altered? Could you describe how the saturation is altered? Hoping to hear back because this sounds like interesting film!
A: KONO Delight ART 400 Color Negative Film, each roll is handmade and tinted and is different per roll being hand made. Kono says, the effect will be more muted if you overexpose the film. But if you underexpose it, it’s going to become more intense.
Q: 5. If your goal is to take pictures that start out using film, then scan them into digital format that can be edited using software to produce digital pictures, what type film is best to use --- Color Negative film or Color Slide film?
A: Color negative is a bit more forgiving in terms of overexposure compared to slide film, generally speaking. If you are used to shooting digitally, then color negative would be a better place to start. Also, it's much more difficult to find a lab that will do color slide processing, dependent upon where you live.
Q: 6. Does the 120 film work in the Hasselblad 500c/m?
A: When using a Hasselblad A12 film back, you can certainly shoot this film with your Hasselblad 500CM
Q: 7. I'm looking for film for an old Brownie Hawkeye. Will this work?
A: The Kodak Brownie Hawkeye camera uses 620 film, not 120 film, and would not be compatible with the Kodak 120 Professional Portra 400 Color Negative Film (Pro Pack, 5 Rolls) listed above. You would have to choose one of the 620 roll films we have listed on our website. http://bhpho.to/1fbaWFp
Q: 8. Can we ferry it through the x-ray machine in the airport? Is any x-ray pack required?
A: Do not use x ray safety packs, or leave film in checked baggage or in your camera. All of these actions will cause security to be suspicious and raise the power in the x-ray machine to the point that it will fog and thus destroy your unprocessed film. (Processed film is unaffected.) If you have a small amount of film, have it in clear zip lock bags, in the manufacturer's containers and then ask for a hand inspection so that you avoid x-ray all together. If you have a large amount of film, it is strongly recommended that you call security ahead of time so that the process may proceed smoothly. FYI, unprocessed film can go through USA TSA hand carry machines unaffected 1-4 times. 5 or more times or higher ISO may fog.
Q: 9. How many exposures can be achieved if i use a Yashica Mat124G?
A: The Yashica-Mat 124g camera is a 6x6 format camera, which with 120 format film will yield 12 exposures.
Q: 10. What is the proper exposure shooting in Golden hour with this film? Setting my camera to 400 ISO?
A: Use the meter on your camera to determine the proper exposure. Typically a good starting point is 1/500 at f16.
