I have never had a DSLR camera that did not have the display screens protected. This keeps the display surface completely protected from scratches and so on. 5

My now obsolete Canon 5D MkII’s are still in mint condition. l’ve been lucky that the LCD screens are still like new. So, since I want them to remain that way, I bought the Expert Shield overlays. Took awhile to get them because they probably don’t make as many as they once did. The kit comes with a piece that installs on the readout screen. Installing the shields requires a steady hand and getting any dust away is equally important. But once done, these give an added measure of protection. 5

Hi: I tried another brand of LCD Protector for my 5dsr that did not fit properly. B&H staff refunded my money and helped me find a replacement that fit better. Its is installed on my viewing LCD and there was also included one for the control LCD on top. Expert Shield also sent a spare set. I was very pleased with B&H staff for their assistance and this product. 5

I have the clear version of Expert Shield on my Canon 5D Mark III, Canon 80D and on my Canon M50. The shield is completely invisible. It does not degrade the visibility of the LCD in any way. Be sure to follow the installation instructions precisely. I turned the shower on in the bathroom just long enough to create some humidity, cleaned the LCD with the microfiber cloth, shone a flashlight on the LCD to find a few remaining dust spots and then placed the Expert Shield. 5
