Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. is this compatable with the Tricaster TC2?

A: The PTZCam TALLY8 8-Camera Wireless Tally System is specifically made to work with the vMIX Switchblade Systems VMC12 and Switch N8.

Q: 2. Has anybody set these up with a PC initially and then just used a ATEM Mini with a Mac for actual production?

A: The Cerevo FlexTally Wireless Tally Lamp System is compatible with the ATEM Mini Pro line of switchers.

Q: 3. How can I connect it to the Roland V-60HD? Via RS232? LAN? Thank you!

A: The Cerevo FlexTally Wireless Tally Lamp System connects to the Roland V-60HD via GPIO only.

Q: 4. Is this compatible with the Osee Gostream Duet?

A: At this time Hollyland does not state that the Hollyland Wireless Tally System (4 Tally Lights) is compatible with the OSEE GoStream Duet SDI/HDMI/NDI|HX Live Stream Video Mixer/Switcher/Recorder.

Q: 5. Could this be configured to work with an ATEM?

A: Yes, the PTZCam TALLY8 8-Camera Wireless Tally System can be setup to work with the ATEM switchers so long as you get the version with the Blackmagic Design tally interface(BH #PTZCTLLY8BMD • MFR #PTZC-TALLY8-BMD). You can find the correct version using the following link: https://bit.ly/3Hg3Ujz

Q: 6. This set is a 4-unit set. Can it be expanded beyond that to 6 or 8?

A: The Cuebi Wireless Tally Lights with USB Cables & Straps can use as many additional lights as needed in your setup. This information comes directly from the manufacturer.

Q: 7. is there anyway to integrate this with a Ross switcher?

A: If the switcher has tally capabilities, you can integrate the Cerevo FlexTally Wireless Tally Lamp System.

Q: 8. Can you turn the green tally (preview) function off? I just want a on air red tally.

A: Unfortunately that is not an option, but I found this from the FlexTally "Some switchers do not have a preview (stand-by) output. For example, LiveWedge does not illuminate green because there is no preview output. Also some switchers have a preview output but don’t have a GPIO preview output. Please check the switcher’s manual accordingly.", if your switcher applies, read user manual.

Q: 9. Does this work with ATEM Mini Extreme Switchers?

A: Yes. Blackmagic: ATEM, all versions and models; using a native protocol system.

Q: 10. Is there a way to get this working with OBS? Also since the Marshall VMV 402 has a serial tally interface, would that work with this system as well?

A: At this time it does not support OBS. Since OBS is an open source platform it is possible for someone with coding experience to develop something to make it work but at this time there is no turn key or easy solution to get this product to work with OBS. In regards to the Marshall Camera this bypasses the need to use Marshall's interface. The Cerevo replaces Marshall's Tally system instead of working with it. It is worth noting that the Flextally is compatible with VMix. Vmix is a software switcher that is extremely similar to OBS. They have a free trail available on their website if you want to test it out. We have it available for purchase with various configurations if you are interested. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/products/Shop-by-Brand-vMix/ci/4/phd/3841605738/N/4294255798?filters=fct_category%3Aswitcher_software_23908
