This Filter Reading System Upgrade Kit from Light Widow is designed to replace the existing filter section of your ARRI LMB matte box system. It incorporates an RFID antenna, an enhanced brake system, and three filter trays. This system uses RFID tags attached to the edges of the filters to identify and read them, displaying the information on wireless e-ink displays known as CineTags.

The upgrade kit includes one CineTag and can be connected to up to ten. The FRS module detects the type and position of each filter using the RFID tags and displays this data, making it easy for the camera crew to monitor what filters are in the matte box. The tags are programmable via a mobile app, allowing users to customize display names, background colors, and display modes.

All filter programming can be handled ahead of time, either at a rental house or during prep, freeing the camera crew to focus on other tasks during filming. While the FRS doesn't yet transmit data directly to the camera, each connected CineTag logs every filter change to a CSV file, using either timecode or real time. A set of 25 RFID tags and a charging cable are also included in the kit.

A: It will work but as the tray design is now different to the original misfit I would advise using the B1230.1006 filter guard when using the tray to protect it from going directly through the matte box. You will be able to lock the tray imposition with the orange filter lock screws on the side of the original misfit

A: The kit you picked is a good light kit. As a note it is set up for 220v so cannot be used in the USA.The bulbs in the lights are 3200K color temperature.And they can be used for high speed/slow motion but it does depend how far you are from the subject and your cameras ISO settings.

A: The included lamps are 120VAC but the lights will work with 240VAC lamps as well.

A: If you want to light the background only not the subjects you can get away with these but it would be better not to use Fresnel lights and more open lights. Just a note these are quartz lights. The do not mix with daylight unless you gel them and they get hot.
