Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. How is the camera guided for direction change?

A: Slowly troll (less than 2 mph) or drift along the structure you intend to view. The camera will face in the boats direction of travel. If youre facing and moving forward, so will the camera; it will show you the underwater terrain in front of you. The stabilizer fin always keeps the camera tracking straight, so long as youre moving. Here is link to the manual as well: http://bit.ly/1mqTIIP

Q: 2. Will the new Mac Studio fully support this monitor at 6K with full Mac functionality?

A: The Dell UltraSharp 32" 6K HDR Video Conferencing Monitor BH #DEU3224KB will support 6k resolution for a Mac computer.

Q: 3. Can I use this on the BlackMagic Design URSA 4K 10 screen?

A: Well I found the sticking parts of the unit do not allow the monitor to close properly after I installed the unit. I had to find an other way to attach it. I believe a sun protector with a band that you can remove at will would be best. I do not recommend this product.

Q: 4. Is the camera fully functional with a Mac?

A: Yes, the camera on the Dell UltraSharp 32" 6K HDR Video Conferencing Monitor is fully functional on a Mac computer. You may need to go into your Mac settings and select the webcam as the primary before use.

Q: 5. Hi! Does the Panasonic HVX200 support this monitor?

A: Yes, The Panasonic HVX200 is an older camera and this display would work with the cameras composite output.

Q: 6. Hi, would this monitor work for the Sony A350 camera? It’s an older model DSLR

A: So long as you have the USB to AV cable needed to output video from the Sony A350, you could output a video feed from the camera to the ProAm USA Iris 7" LCD Video Monitor.

Q: 7. Will this work on a Panasonic Lumix G95?

A: The ProAm USA Iris 7" LCD Video Monitor display does not have an HDMI input that would be required to connect to the Lumix or most cameras shipping today. No the display would not work with the Panasonic Lumix G95. I will add another model with HDMI input as well as the HDMI cable plus battery you will need below. Q: 8. Is this an IPS Black monitor?

A: The Dell UltraSharp 31.5" 4K HDR Video Conferencing Monitor, B&H # DEU3223QZ, has an IPS Black panel.

Q: 9. Is there any reason I can't hook this to an Apple TV and use to headphones output to send the audio to a home audio system?

A: As the ProAm USA Iris 7" LCD Video Monitor does not support HDCP, this would result in the AppleTV having an HDCP error and refusing to playback content.

Q: 10. Can the webcam be used on Linux as a "dumb" webcam, since the control software in Windows-only?

A: You would need to check if the Linux distro and software package used has support for the Webcam built into the Dell UltraSharp 32" 6K HDR Video Conferencing Monitor BH #DEU3224KB.

This monitor has some of the highest gammas for its price. Whether you're a photographer wanting to look at Adobe RGB colors, a designer wanted to check Pantone colors, or a Videographer wanting to preview in Rec 709 and even HDR spaces for Netflix shows, this monitor has it all. I know I sound like a commercial or a fake review, but I'm excited. I tried several monitors, even from Benq, and I landed on this one. most importantly the Benq customer service is top-notch. The only small headache is that you might get a defective unit, with a stick or dead pixel. If that happens, as it happened to me, Benq will do right by you, and you'll be using one of the best monitors for this price out there. Like I'm doing right now.

Beautiful images no screen glare. I use it for video color correction. Great to know I can be spot on. Calibration is simple. Menus easy but documentation not so good. All in all a great alternative to a $6k monitor.

No more fooling around with wannabe photographer's monitors, this is the real deal. The hardware calibration is rock solid, plus it's nice to have quick access to other color modes at the touch of a button for quick checks in other spaces, or editing in other working spaces for video. Plus (and I say this after years of working with a lot of consumer electronics), I have never seen anything packed so well.

This is a part of my step up from a 27 inch screen. It is sharp and the details and colors on my bird photos are superb. One caveat. The DP to DP mini cable I got in the box wouldn't work. The screen was black. My PC is an HP mini workstation. I got an aftermarket HDMI to DP cable and did get a working screen. However, this was not the best solution for full functioning at the best level. I chatted with HP tech support and got a DP to mini DP adapter and connected it to the aftermarket cable. The mini DP port on the PC became functional with this HP adapter.

High resolution laptop PCs have made it difficult to read/use text items on Photoshop and many other programs. The BenQ monitor solved that problem very well. I had been wearing magnifying lenses to process photographs. Sensitivity to the importance of accurate color rendition was also a key element in selecting this monitor. It would have been helpful to have more information on the function of the buttons on the front of the monitor.

I'm a semi-retired professional photographer and I had the 27-inch model of this BenQ monitor. I recently ordered the 32-inch and it is every bit as excellent as the 27-inch. The color calibration is accurate out of the box, and with a color calibrator I purchased from B&H, my color calibration is measured as ambient, which means it changes as the light in my room changes. My ambient light changes a lot and the BenQ w/calibrator doesn't miss a pixel! I couldn't be happier. My 27-inch BenQ is 5 years old and it survived a move from California to Nevada, and Silicon Valley and Nevada heat (before I finally got air conditioning).

After much review of both my pocket book and the variety of professional monitors out there, I settled on the BenQ 321C. The tech in the monitor is very good; the colors (once calibrated) are very good; and, the size is more comfortable than my old 27. This monitor is intended for color critical work and, as such, the price is appropriate for a professional monitor.

Using this for editing on Capture One from a Fuji 100s camera. Quality is top notch as you would expect. Also enjoy the included hood.

If you're a photographer/videographer, once you move to this BenQ 32 screen, the size and their amazing color accuracy, you will never go back to anyone else's monitor. When I opened LR, I was blown away by the accuracy and palette, seeing color detail I had missed before. BenQ even provides a Factory Calibration Report, printed and folded in the included materials, for my screen with serial number. The Shading Hood is also very helpful in eliminating outside light and shadows. Compared to what you have invested in photography gear, this is a small relative price to reproduce your images accurately and make post that much better. No photos attached because if you need this monitor to adequate display your work!
