This pair of Studio Monitor Stand from Odyssey supports up to 55 lb each stand, and they are height adjustable from 35 to 55" with a locking pin to keep the height from slipping. The steel-triangular base provides stability as well as allowing the stands to easily fit into corners. The stands feature foot spikes for leveling and rubber feet for a better grip on hard surfaces.

A: This stand is meant to position a laptop or tablet above a dj controller, while resting on a tabletop. It will not hold the controller directly.

Q: 7. What materials is this stand made from, especially in a tightening areas?

A: Main shaft, legs & struts are anodized aluminum extrusions. Pivots are heavy duty steel rivets. Main shaft clamps are of a thick cast plastic with steel threaded bolts capped with plastic. The central base plate is also relatively think plastic component. Overall, a well made lightweight stand & good value for light to medium usage, however it's not likely to hold up for a Pro that require steady daily use requiring frequent broken down & transport. Q: 8. Does this stand hold ring lights?

A: This stand has a standard 5/8 post at the top like the vast majority of light stands I've used, so if your ring light has normal stand mounting hardware it should work fine. If your light doesn't have the most common mounting hardware, adapters and clamps are available.

A: This DJ laptop stand has a 90-day manufacturer's warranty. Maximum weight it can handle is not specified by the Odyssey, but it is meant specifically for a laptop, so heavier gear is not recommended.

Purchasing these stands was the best money I have spent in a long time. From the moment I opened the box, these stands had quality written all over them. Assembly was a breeze, and all necessary parts and tools were included, as were the clear and well-written instructions. Once assembled, these stands are quite hefty. I really like the padding on the top plate. It should be noted that the padding is very firm and not mushy, so a speaker of pretty much any weight can safely sit on the pads. Despite the three-point mounting, you can be sure these stands are VERY sturdy and stable. I really liked the options for the feet...rubberized cones for bare floors that can be removed, revealing 1.5 spikes for carpeted floors. The feet are also adjustable for precise leveling. I purchased the solid black and they are visually quite striking. I plan on ordering a second set of these stands. I give them my highest recommendation. I should also note that purchasing these from B&H could not have been easier, and the shipping was fast! These stands really allow my small speakers to sound like they are twice their size. And the 75 lb. weight capacity allows for essentially any stand-mount speaker. Ultimate Support should consider adding a broader selection of stand heights to their product line.
