A: Unfortunately, the Manfrotto XPRO series of tripods (such as this 190XPRO3) can only achieve its lowest positions by laterally extending the center column. Other versions of Manfrotto tripods offer a low-height center column mounting piece, but the unique design of the XPRO tripods does not.
