Designed for musicians, performers, presenters, and instructors, the JBL IRX108BT is a powered 8" portable PA speaker with built-in Bluetooth that features remarkable volume, clarity, and a total ease of use. This pint-sized power house was professionally engineered to outperform larger competing systems.

The IRX108BT features 4 x real-world EQs to let you dial-in an optimal tone quickly and efficiently. The built-in dbx AFS feedback suppression ensures your vocals or speech sound as loud and clear as possible. Other notable features include 1-touch ducking, which automatically lowers the music volume when speech input is detected, and a bass-boost circuit for pumping up the low end at your next party.

The rear panel provides 2-channel mic/line inputs, each with combo XLR-1/4" connectors, as well as an XLR thru to connect additional speakers. Bluetooth 5.0 audio streaming lets you play backing tracks, video soundtracks, or recorded music between sets. It's possible to link 2 speakers to create a true stereo image.

The polypropylene enclosure and honeycomb grille is rugged and capable of handling the rigors of on-the-road wear and tear. The 1000W amplifier powers the 8" woofer and high-frequency driver to provide a frequency response of 54 Hz to 20 kHz with a peak SPL of 124 dB. The JBL IRX108BT ships with a power cord.

I have had many different brands of speaker, but the only one that has lasted (more than ten years) is my old JBL, there is still nothing wrong with my old one, but when I was in the market for a larger more powerful speaker, JBL was my first thought. And so far this new speaker has more than lived up to the standard! If you are as clumsy & outdoorsy as I am this is the speaker for you. 5

As I said above, I would HIGHLY recommend this speaker. I use this in my RZR, one day it ended up on the floor board as I drove through a huge mud puddle. Mud got in through the floors and this thing was CAKED, fully covered. I got home, hosed it off thinking the worst… BUT it sounded just like it did when we started the ride earlier that day. Waterproof is an understatement! 5

I bought a pair of these a month ago and I am over the moon with them. I pair them in Party Mode and then they play in stereo. They are LOUD, have awesome clarity, and amazing bass! They sound great with all styles of music. The battery life is phenomenal and they charge back up really quickly. I am a musician and an audiophile so I expect a lot and I was not disappointed! They’re extremely rugged and well built. JBL has a winner here, I highly recommend these! 5

I bought this because my charge 4 on/off button stopped working. I loved my charge 4. This one is a bit bigger and a bit heavier, but nowhere near the heftiness of the pulse 5. The sound is pretty good, but doesn’t seem to have the deep base sound like the 4 did. As for as loudness I’m not sure as I haven’t had a purpose yet to test that feature out, but summer we shall see. And the party boost feature while nice, the connection isn’t a solid smooth one it seems to by spotty and the speakers were less than 5 feet away with no interference. And I’m not liking that I can’t connect to my older jbl speakers. 5
